Don't waste your time or money. We had a $2500 front door installed and after one winter, there was frost build up all around, as well as in the key and lock hole. There were times when we couldn't get into our home. Service came to fix but told us we had a humidity problem. We had our HVAC guy come and say there was nothing wrong with the air in our home. These windows have a 10 yr warranty...but the windows lose their seal after 10 years almost to the day and you won't see out of them anymore. read more

The windows seem like quality items but the installation and finishing of the work is lacking. The fellows who installed the framing around the window left a bent nail exposed then explained to me that 'it was not a problem'. Then the fellow who was to come and repair it (after 3 months) and fill the nail holes 'forgot' he was supposed to keep an appointment today - which wasted a half day vacation as I sat and waited for him to show. I filled the nail holes myself- likely not as good a job as a finishing carpenter might do, but I only have so much vacation!! We thought Paramount Windows Winnipeg was the way to go in our New Home build. Sadly now 10 years have passed and the seals started to go. Even though they have a lifetime warrenty,we still have to pay for installation. Each window installation costs over $200.00. We found out it is a common problem because of faulty seals because of standards set -chemical composition changed. After contacting one of owners, he came to our home, looked the windows over and replaced them for minimal cost to use. Thank you Paramount. read more

Hi there, my mother had windows installed in her house by this company, but 2 years after mold, cracking, and cold was felt around the windows, she had another contractor rip open the inside drywall only to find no insulation around any of the windows, her picture window almost fell out because of mold and decay which was due in part of the shoddy installation, Also I was there this week to see with my own eyes that they only had 4 srews YES 4 screws one in each corner holding this huge picture window in. When she contacted the company to get some resolve they told her that her 2 year waranty was up and there was nothing they could do! If any one out there can help me get some resolve in this matter by forwarding this review to the company, It may help my mom out as she has lost quite a lot of money over this.
