When I called, they said 'Oh that's not how it works -- we send a lien release to the DMV in 3-5 business days, who then mails the title 7-10 business days after that.' That would have been good info to have up front. Worse, I had to waste an entire day because they kept bouncing me around. First they said they'd email me the lien release, then called back to say "Just kidding! I know we wasted over an hour of yours today, but we need your wife to be the one to call in since she is the primary. It doesn't matter that we have her written and verbal consent to allow you to make changes on this account/loan..." Meanwhile I've already sold the car and can't deliver the title to the buyer on time. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
