The guy in the counter is unbelievable rude and disrespectful. He kept on answering with smarty comebacks and pulling my leg instead of just answering politely. I was there just for 5 minutes but he tried to tease me three times. First when I asked for a particular artist. Then when I asked for internet connection (He could have been easily denied for this one but he just made fun of me) and then when I asked for a bag for the record I BOUGHT. I should have punched him in the face but since I'm a tourist and a grown peaceful middle aged man I don't engage in violent behaviours. I thought this was usual in Köhln but it actually isn't. The rest of the record stores I visited after had amazing helpful staff. Don't buy to this piece of sh##. He deserves to go out of business for treating the clients as he does. read more

Very Happy to visit Early Bird Records! In Cologne for business and was hoping to find a few…read morerecords. Picked up extremely rare Grobschnitt, Jane, Cat Stevens, Clapton, Cocker and others. Album covers and liner notes all in fine, clean condition. Every disc was in EX condition and the owner gave a 15% discount. On site DJ playing classic soul. Small store, lots of great deals. Worth seeking out.
