The overall experience is okay if you are in the mood for some enchiladas or fajitas. However when I went there was a magician there and he totally weirded me out. Good Morning! This is like having dinner with your family. Ben and Aurora and the entire Paraiso team are so about service and taking really perspnal care of you. The food is inexpensive, yummy and there is lots of it. Bacon wrapped prawns are my favorite but everything on the menu is scrumptious. Great lunch specials and they have 7 big screens in the bar to watch any game. Ben will always greet you with... The food here was ok. Definitely not bad by any means, but we have had much better. The salsa for the chips seemed watered down and didn't have much flavor and the margaritas weren't very strong. The one bid downside was that the space is incredibly small so when they are packed your getting bumped by other customers and employees. The employees themselves were ok as well. Tried this because the reviews were so great. Seriously??? The food is fairly bland - when someone said American Style Mexican food that should have been the tip off that the spices would be missing. The margaritas were absolutely terrible; they need to go to bartender school. Nice people, but clueless when it comes to dining. If we want American style (i.e. bland), we can eat at home. Plus service was questionable - when my hubby said the margarita he ordered was not to his liking - instead of switching it out, they tried doctoring it up. What a mess!! Good service. I ordered to go since was staying in a nearby hotel. A bag of chips was included with a very small container of salsa which was laughable. They are also charged a bit over 3% for cc use stating they want to keep the cost of their food low. Their food prices are not cheaper than other Mexican food places and quality pretty average. This establishment is wonderful! My mother took me here while I was in town visiting and says it's one of her favorite spots. The service is friendly and on top of all my requests, which I always have a couple requests. The owner is so sweet she even took our order and I told her I can be pretty picky with my enchiladas. Rice and beans were the best I've had in the state. However, I made the mistake of not asking for my food to be made spicy. The food was good, but bland and there was no hot sauce on the table. The "hot" sauce that came with the chips wasn't hot at all. Also, don't sit on the restaurant side if you want alcoholic beverages because they can't serve them for some reason, even though they're on the menu. Burritos and taquitos were excellent, but yeah, if you like spice, ask for it. read more

Fiesta Margarita is giant, truly is a meal of awesome citrus in and of itself. The plates and portions are giant and is pretty good. The servers are very nice. The decor will make your head spin clear off, especially in the women's restroom. No more than 4 inches of wall and ceiling space is showing between each thing. Soooooo waaaayyyy too much in there. first off I was strolling through smokey point looking for a decent Mexican place. safe to say I found one el paraiso , well from my visit I saw the forks and knives with dirty spots and stains as if their dish washer needs to be used correctly. Lots of beaners work their so its a fast pace environment. I ordered the burrito carne asada and it tasted bland, no salt no nothing straight tortilla and and trashy meat. I wouldn't recommend coming here for anything other than the free chips and free water so you can atleast get a bang for your buck read more

The menu is typical Tex-Mex with a few regional dishes thrown in. Always busy, the atmospehere is of a family restaurant - somewhat noisy and staff hustling about. The food is uniformly good, the portions large and the service is usually quick and friendly. This is a go-to local place for us with generous drinks and easy prices. read more

They are 10 times better than the non affiliated El Paraiso restaurants in Snohomish and Everett, so much so that if I was in front of one of them I would drive here instead. The service is great. My wife and I eat a lot of Mexican food, and are always trying new places we find. we moved to Marysville and quickly found this place from a advertisement on the back of a receipt. Let me start by saying, i will try this place again, but not anytime soon. That being said, the service was slow, and by slow I mean about 40 minutes to get food. The waiter never came and asked how our food was, nor refilled our beverages, or offered more salsa. Half the place was empty. I had steak fajitas. I think the they lacked flavor, but weren't bad. I would of liked to see more of a variety in the fajitas other than green peppers and onions. The meat was good quality, a little overcooked. I know it cooks on the hot plate after they serve it... it was over cooked when it reached the table. My wife had chicken flatus. She said they we lite on the seasoning, and rather bland. The re-fried beans needed more seasoning as well. The place needs a good cleaning. It was overall wiped down, but needs a good deep clean to get the grime off the widow sills. Wipe down the menu's... they were rather gross... If the next experience is the same, we wont be back. read more

I returned with my wife and I had Arroz con pollo, and she had Canitas del res but my wife was unhappy with her food. She ordered the meal because the meat was supposed to be SIRLOIN STEAK but instead was some GRIZZLY cheap meat from some old cow. Will start out with the positive. Our waitress was super friendly, and the food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Now for the rest................. The chips were stale, but we could forgive that, as the hubs liked the salsa okay. Our food was not the best, kind of plain tasting. But then it happened, and appetites were lost. As we were eating, one of our group pulled something out of their mouth and said, doesn't this look like a tooth??" Well, yes, it did. I guess when they took a bite of their refried beans, this tooth was in it.
