As we had a toddler , so they seated us in a private dining area outside the bar to comply with the regulation that kids aren't allowed in bars after 9 pm. Our server was very friendly. The staff was really good! He took our orders, got us to try a few beers and whiskeys before we finalized our orders to ensure that we really enjoy what we order. At this point we were just blown away by the hospitality despite being extremely crowded. We ordered two pints of beer, a shot of whiskey, fish and chips and a vegetarian curry dish. As far as his pub goes, it's a great comfy place in the middle of town. Lots of places to chill inside and a great atmosphere, as well. There's a good sized outside area for the smokers or any day when it's not pouring rain. Sunday night is BBQ night and the burgers were great. All in all, highly recommended!
