Oh, and his work is amazing! From his tight line work to his knack for shading, there isn't a piece that he can't do well! He has many years of experience and it shows in his work. As far as the shop itself, it is very clean and full of interesting and authentic artwork and decorations. He takes pride in his space and it is a comfortable place to be. She re did the marking 2 or 3 times because we both noticed there was some uneven in the mark that was placed. Third time was the charm & she did it exactly how i asked ! (Just peirce both first then place the ring in) I will say; all my peircings have had clamps... she used a metal tube & needle. I got lucky enough that there was a cancellation and they were able to fit me in next day. (Otherwise I was looking at at least a month wait) The entire experience was so simple and the staff was extremely supportive and provided their own creative insights to help round out exactly what I wanted. While the design wasn't very advanced I was still able to get in and out in about an hour. If Yelp had the option to go higher than 5 stars I would. Already cant wait to get another tattoo.

I was in town for my family vacay and have always wanted the little Oberon sun as a salute to MI…read moresince I no longer live in state. Submitted a request here and they were able to get me in same day, sweet!! I made it pretty clear I was looking for a fine line, simple outlined tattoo, both on the online submission and on the phone. The dude who tattooed me started by bringing out a few different sizes, I asked if we could do a size in between the first two prints. He seemed confused by this, left, came back, and asked how the next print looked and if that size worked. I'm 98% sure it was the exact same print out as before, he just didn't know how to resize it the paper had the same creases and it looked identical to the first print off, so I should've taken that as a red flag right away. But I wanted to get the tattoo so agreed on one of the sizes. Once we get into the tattoo, he stops about halfway and asks if I'd like any shading. I said no, I just want the outline exactly like we talked about. He says okay, and continues to shade the inside of the sun anyway. I didn't realize until I got home and took the saniderm off how bad the line work was. Yes, the Oberon sun is supposed to be squiggly and imperfect. However, my line work was bleeding and inconsistent. He claimed the bleeding lines would "fade" but they did not. Along with this, the face all blended together. It's hard to tell which feature is which. It looks like smudged marker to be honest. I think the man who tattooed me may have been an apprentice (but charged as if he were a seasoned artist at $150/hr), but I wish they would have been honest with their ability. I cried about the tattoo I was so excited for and have plans to remove it since it makes me sick to think about it. I reached out and was told that they'd be happy to do a touch up, but haven't heard a peep since then, even when I followed up again asking just for a refund because they even agreed it was bad.... Just wanting to share my experience for anyone else so they can go anywhere but here. Below is what I wanted vs what I got! Embarrassing.

I got my 3rd tattoo and was excited, I was told since it was small and simple it would be the shop…read moreminimum of about $60, I got there, my tattoo artist is late, no biggie I got nowhere to be and he was fixing his motorcycle brakes, pretty important, and the person I wanted with me was also late, an hour and a half later, I'm filling out the form and my artist is there asking if I was sure I wanted it to be what I said, a blocked out paw print from my cat, asking if I wanted names or shading anything, I said no and he said well see and try out some stuff, while I'm ON THE TABLE he starts going through some changes and I'm to awquard to say no, it turns out really cool a 3d outline of the paw print, and he charges me $100 which I don't have, and they didn't tell me beforehand it was cash only, I managed to pay through Paypal with the receptionist since I don't have 100$ on me and I can make a delayed payment through Paypal, the shop was cool they put on some music after the first hour or so, and I love my tattoo, they didn't give me any after care instructions but since its my 3rd I know what to do, the people were kind and fun to chat with though
