(Awww...man this dough and meat is fresh and soft, not like the try-hard local stores who end up making it hard to eat!) If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian-made pizza with fresh dough and toppings that should be expected in Italian pizza, than you can take Salvatore's Slice of Italy's name, which is a genuine original Italian name, and turn it into "The Freshest and Softest Pizza in Adelaide" - especially after you wash a slice or two down with a couple of cans of soft drinks! The chef was so friendly, when I asked what the gorgeous photos on his wall came from, he told me stories of his trips overseas back home to the beautiful pristine islands of Italy, and all his cousins. He said his uncles from Italy were the ones who taught him how to make pizzas for life. I love immigrants who never forget where they came from, or apply what they learnt in their younger years to run a successful business or job for the rest of their life. Look for the colourful Italian flag colours of green, white and red at the front to guide your way. Anyway - just find this place. Consequently here we are! I came, I tried it, I came back home... and here I am... The staff are very friendly, and very welcoming when you come in. After ordering, for the first time I was asked if I wanted to add any extra toppings. Seriously, a lot of places offer this service, but rarely are you ever asked about it. You may think it's a small thing, but it stuck in my mind. The wait time felt a little long, but I did go at a busy time. When the pizza arrived it was amazing. The drive home was a hard one, and biting into the pizza, the first thing I noticed was the dough. What did they do to the dough? It's magnificent! Maybe they did nothing, maybe it was supplied to them that way. Either way, it was really good. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese was nice. COVID-19 makes chatting with the owners tricky as only one customer can be in the shop at any one time, but it appears the owners remain committed to making a great product. The shop is clean and the kitchen open and easy to view. I am glad I revisited this old haunt, a nostalgic location and shopfront with a decent quality pizza my family enjoyed. The menu choices are good, with topping taste combinations that should please most punters. Great to see this local Elizabeth business is still serving and employing.

They cater for everyone with vegetarian and gluten free options (I have gluten free cheese and mushroom pizza). For fresh food the wait was not long at all. The server set us up with a high chair and had a chat with the baby too. I did have to feed her and no one batted an eyelid I was very comfortable here. The serving staff were lovely and came over multiple times to check if we are ok and ask how the food is, but the real pleasure was when the chef came out to chat to us and check that we all loved the food. The ice cream bar had loads of flavours and we all enjoyed it! I had baci flavouring.
