This branch of Paperchase is located in Leeds Train Station, it is a fairly interesting part of the station which is split off from the main hustle and bustle of the concourse and also features other stores such as Starbucks.
Overall, Leeds Station is large so does have quite a few shops inside, ones which would be unusual to find in a train station normally and one of these stores includes Paperchase, I have only seen a Paperchase in a train station once before, as I recall this was in the summer when I went to Newcastle, which appeared to be quite a modern branch.
This store seems quite small and has a slightly girly feel to it overall, it mainly stocks items of the cards and arts and crafts markets rather than having a huge selection of stationery for example.
This branch is one of two stores which Paperchase has in Leeds as I recall, with a larger location closer to the "shopping center" of Leeds, yet not apart of The Trinty Mall.
This store overall as mentioned just feels rather unusual in its location, does it offer a huge benefit to its location? Not really. I'm struggling here, the overall feel, selection and location of this store, isn't great and this store for me really is a maverick store due to the reasons discussed and I'm struggling to warrant it deserving anything other a single one-star rating, I'm sorry to report which is a shame too, considering it is nearly 8 years since this place was reviewed for the first time (which also happened to be when this place was last reviewed). read more
