I'm here in Craig, Alaska for business, and it's been a very rainy week, so there hasn't been a lot of opportunity to get out in enjoy the local cuisine. However, today I decided to try Papa's Pizza and have it delivered, and it was a very, very good choice. I don't have a huge appetite as a rule, so I tend to order from the smaller plates and appetizers section of a restaurant's menu. However, I ordered the calzone and added pepperoni and mushroom for an additional dollar each, and it still ended up being a larger portion then I could recently finish in one sitting. The calzone arrived hot and well within the quoted time window, and it was everything I could expect it to be and more. I added an order of pizza bread twists and they were excellent: a perfect addition to the calzone. Good food here, probably the best on Prince of Whales. The service is very friendly and treats everyone the same. They also have unlimited refills on soda, I think all restaurants should do this. The wait time was about average even though the place was filled. They also have Wifi, and even occasional sports game. My only problem would be the napkins because they are hard to pull out. Their bathrooms are very clean, and the ice cream is pretty good. (Especially compared to Zat's Pizza) Their food can be a little greasy, but it is not that big of a deal. They deliver in about 30 minutes, and have a wide variety of bottled drinks!!! I am going to eat here again, and you should try it too!!! read more

They never answer their phones. I've been trying to call for hours, the phone is constantly busy and I CAN NOT imagine the food is any good. Looks like i'll be buying and oven pizza instead. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. btw i found a twenty dollar bill in the terlet. GREATEST find yet. read more

Good pizza! I've been here a few times now (once alone and once with a large group). Each time I've been impressed. I especially like the crust, it has a nice and buttery flavor. A huge plus of this place is that's its one of the only places in Craig that has wifi. Will be back soon! read more

I came for lunch twice during my visit to POW. Both times, I had single slices of their Texas Ranch pizza which as awesome. It was great not to have to order a full pizza and wait on it to be made. The second visit I also had their Caramel Praline ice cream, which was pretty good as well. read more
