Food is really good & staff is friendly but food is way overpriced. I was priced $20 over the phone for just one meal.

Listen up, everyone! As a 100% Italian, I'm one of the few people here qualified to give this place…read morea proper review . People complain about it being too soggy, undercooked, or lacking toppings--absolute nonsense. This is a perfectly authentic Italian pizza. If you know good food, you know this is the kind of quality you usually only find in top-tier restaurants in major cities like LA or NY, or back in Italy itself. It is absolutely worth every penny. Sure, you can go to a chain and pay half the price, but you're just paying for unrisen dough, low-quality ingredients, and zero wood-fired aroma. To top it all off, our waitress was great and the pizzas came out incredibly fast, even with the place being packed. This is the real deal. And no, they didn't pay me for this review LOL

Service model is a disaster - greeted from behind a plexiglass barrier (Covid is long over), no paper menus mean consumer need to try to read on phone which is a disservice to both diner and restaurant - no clear understanding of available offerings - no eye to key items, promotional add-ons, appetizers...forget desserts. You have to get up to order including water and wine...no service utensils for antipasti - how do we get it on to our plastic plates? - No table touches for how'd dinner, clearing or reorders of wine...a big miss for restaurant and diner. Cheap plastic plates and silverware - wine glasses have "Christmas themed etchings - huh? No details of wines offered though good quality and value at $10. Manager/owner is behind counter making pies...staff in cut-off shorts and sloppy. No sense of hospitality. Overall - a $100 bill for a very poor "fast casual" experience. Maybe okay for take out but pies are $16-21 for 12" with NO ATMOSPHERE (Did I mention have the store room is in dining room - nice) and NO SERVICE and NO HOSPITALITY. Unfortunate as it could be so easy to fix.

I walked up with my dog planning to tie him to a light post while I ran inside to order, but before I could even get to the door the manager noticed us and invited us to wait in a covered alcove so my dog could stay dry and comfortable. It immediately made me feel welcome. While waiting, I grabbed a drink ,.. they have cocktails, draft beer, and bottled options ....and the whole place had such an easygoing, friendly vibe. The pizza itself was the real deal: true New York-style and absolutely delicious. Great people, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to it. I'll definitely be coming back.

Nicky's is on Main Street and though one might be worried about parking, there are plenty of spaces available. We parked in the lot by the Ice House Amphitheater. Our friends got a spot right in front of the restaurant. Our server was pleasant and after initially being seated by the window, we requested a move closer to the fire place. We ordered our usual: Grandma's with sausage and mushrooms on one half. When the pie arrived after about 15 minutes, it looked great. The sauce at Nicky's is a bit tangy and slightly sour, which we prefer. The crust is thin and slightly crunchy with a nice chew included. The large pie is cut in eight pieces, so each is us got two nice sized slices. The restaurant is cozy and features two dining areas. There are loots of pizza places to choose from and Nicky's is too good not to check out.

I get there early and wait in my car and go in to pick up my cheese steak sub and they have nothing. First they had me go out to my car and get my phone to prove that I called the order in!!! which I proved and then nobody remembered taking my order So I verbally gave my order to the girl at the counter, a large steak and cheese sub with extra cheese, extra onions and mushrooms. I wait for them to make it and she tells me it's ready. I walk up to the counter and there's a pizza box there!!! At this point I'm starving and fed up so I just take the pizza, say "that's fine", and I go. They also made me pay for it!!!!!!! When I got home, I opened the pizza box to a large pizza with extra extra extra cheese, onions and a sprinkle of mushrooms! Absolutely no steak!!!!!! With red sauce on the side! So now I'm having cheese for dinner. I don't know what they couldn't understand, but I'm not going back here ever!

Mind you, I never once was told anything about my pizza or asked to wait, she just walked away. The pizza is good, but the customer service is HORRIBLE
