This was the absolute cutest little local coffee/breakfast/lunch spot! So good that we had breakfast & then went back for lunch the following day. Everyone there was so accommodating with recommendations since we had never been. Everything on the menu is AMAZING. I personally had the breakfast tacos, and frozen Java chip coffee and my bridesmaids had breakfast bagels, and then for lunch I had the chicken salad on a croissant how they recommended it to be made, & street corn dip. I want to drive back over to that coast just to visit Papa Kwan's. Amazing overall, 10/10 experience! By the way, their oatmeal cream pies near the register.... This was my first visit, which was followed the next day with my daughter. I love their crumb cake, it reminds me of growing up in NY. Let's face it an açaí bowl is pretty much the same everywhere.. the put a lot of Nutella on it. The only down side is that there is no way to tell how to order for newbies. Apparently you write your order down near the door. That is great for veteran patrons but as a new person I needed direction. I also prefer larger drink cups. read more

The staff is super friendly, food is delicious (they have lots of gluten free options) and even though they are always slammed the food comes out quickly. The cold brew coffee is amazing. Seeing another locals post, reminded me that I hadn't posted a review of my experience! As I haven't had the luck of making it in for quite a while, I did go a few months back with my mom - it's was very busy, and we went in knowing it would be worth the wait. As we waited, I bought fresh fruit next door and watched a golden retriever puppy live its best life saying hi to all of the diners. Such a happy vibe I left with. Amazing! The food was really good! I ordered an acai bowl and you order it on a little paper and can select many toppings! They loaded the acai up with toppings and fresh fruit and the acai tasted fresh and was delicious. The staff were super friendly and kind and the food did not take a long time. You can sit outside at tables with umbrellas and the bring the food out to you. This is the perfect place before the beach or after the beach or just whenever you want amazing food. Remarkable and rather than regrettable! Normally, when you're an eatery next to a Jupiter Donuts, a high traffic breakfast joint, that's because you aren't going to do too well on your own. Isn't it nice to find a breakfast and lunch joint that has kickass food and great coffee and is clean comfortable and FUN! My recreation of the McMuffin,here, is head and shoulder better. Upon entering it quickly became a confusing experience with no direction or guidance on how to use their paper slip ordering system for some items and not all. After 10 minutes we decided to get in line and see if the cashier (who clearly has never been trained on customer service) who with much disgust in her voice started crossing out everything we apparently did wrong. She had no patience to win over a first time customer. When I tried to give her the rest of the order I was scolded and told that I had to wait for her to straighten out our first food item. The food was average and nothing special. I find it very amusing that they have a sign at the front door that states, if you don't have the time or the patience to wait for your food, come back another time. Really?? I should have patience for them but not them for me. On a high note, the runner that brought the food was pleasant and even asked if he could get us anything else. First and last time customer. NOTE: The owner did follow up and I appreciated his gesture to make it right, he clearly cares about his business and customers. Owner on a power trip but not willing to come to me himself got an employee to do it. Soo obvious bc he walked by and one minute later an employee to come talk to me. Was told to move 3 times while waiting for a smoothie. First time was while sitting in the back at tables only allowed to have parties of 3 or more. Table beside me was empty and no parties of 3 anywhere in site. Not a busy time at all and I wasn't planning on staying, in and out. It's hot and I had zero interest in waiting outside. Furthermore I would have made way for a large party all they had to do was be polite and say if a party of 3 or more comes in we need to use the table (totally fine). The 2nd and 3rd time was while waiting at the front, apparently that's not allowed either. 2 different people told me to wait outside. I nearly lost it, I shouldn't have moved the first time as i wasn't making a mess or staying impeding other guests. I get the place is small and these rules are there to help during busy times (again this was not busy at all). Advice to the owner, pick your battles. This was a very very petty thing to bother a patron over. Talk to your customers instead of making your employees be inconsiderate on your behalf. Looked like an Asian coleslaw and had a similar flavor in the sauce. It was a nice twist on your regular taco. It paired well with the chips. I ordered a coffee with espresso, which was great and had a bold flavor to it. My wife got some sort of Korean latte and I tasted it as well. It wasn't our favorite. The taste didn't really have a flavor that I'd pair with coffee but almost felt like a coffee kambucha.
