I spent $20 on some scratch-offs while returning to AL on the "Magic Mile" of Huntsville Hwy and won $25! Figuring this a nice note to end on, I cashed in my tickets and was on my way. Papa Jacks is a shell of a convenient store with rows of chips and candy replaced with white tables covered in scratch off remnants. The coolers that were once bountiful with Monster drinks and overpriced bottled water are all dark. There's one large flat screen TV by the cashier's counter blaring sports news and two cashiers ready and waiting for you to call out numbers and take your money. Quite depressing in all.
