Holy Cow!!! This is awesome! They accommodated our large group of over 35 and really took care of…read moreall our crazy kids. The beer was delicious and the pancakes were yummo! I had the bacon and apple pancake while my husband tried a savory everything pancake. His was scrumptious and I wished I had ordered his after trying a bite. The sauces they offer are both sweet and savory and depending on the type of pancake you got they were deceivingly delicious. You could also enjoy soups, salads, and some other savory dishes. So, there was a little something for everyone. We visited this restaurant over a year ago and vowed that we'd be back with our swim team and we were able to make it happen. I would highly suggest going here if you are in the area. If the weather is nice there's great play equipment outside for the kiddos.

This little hidden gem is located amongst the Tegenbosch trees. It is the cutest lil place with a…read morerustic vibe next to a goat farm and of course an apple orchard. The pancakes were quite tasty and enormous, the size of a large plate. Have been here twice and first time had a savory pancake with bacon and cheese which was good but would not recommend as a sole meal, maybe to share for a table as they are pretty heavy and a lil greasy. But the regular pancakes with cream and strawberries were absolutely delicious! Also have had the vegetable soup which was really nice but maybe lacking a bit of salt. There is a small market next door with some produce and home baked goods for a lil shopping.

I am Dutch - when in Netherlands I eat 2 things - Broodje Kroket & Farmer Pancakes. Coming across…read morethis Pancake House was a godsend! - I was so much craving one that as soon as I sat down I ordered what I thought is something every Pancake restaurant in the Netherlands (should) have on the menu. - An full savoury Farmers Pancake (Boeren Pannekoek). I asked for the dark grained beer batter with bacon (spek), mushrooms, onions, cheese and parsley - *yum* - however I was told I couldn't. So I resorted to the menu - where I found all separate ingredients, but not all 4 together - so in my view it should have been possible. (as I had these combined ingredients in many different pancake houses in NL before I KNOW it can be done) - OK I choose instead for bacon, onions & mushrooms and added some grated cheese ( note that what was missing was only the parsley from my original request) - the sauce I normally use with this - 'shashlik' - was not available and I had to settle for curry-ketchup (not at all similar - whatever they said!) - I may have been a difficult customer, but I feel they should've known their own menu a bit better instead of just saying 'no'. The place is 'rustic' and very child friendly - colouring placemats and highchairs. They serve a small selection of beers and wine and a large selection of soft drinks and especially Chocomel! - made me feel like a child again - pancakes and a chocolate drink. The furniture is simple and again very child friendly, the seats are a bit uncomfortable - hard wooden chairs. I used my scarf to help me out. It was an ok experience put I know better place to really have liked this visit.

I got the breakfast and it was very reasonably priced. Too much bread, but oh well, I just left it…read moreon my plate. I will probably go back to try the apple pancake with ice cream and cinnamon sugar.. sounds delicious.
