The bagel gave a good chew (which was what I was looking for!). The schmear was not quite to NYC standards -- maybe Charlotte standards... but it was nice fluffy cream cheese. And the caffe Americano was... caffe Americano. What it's NOT: This is not a pasticceria... it's a BAGEL SHOP. You cannot get a bagel AND a nice brioche. You come here for a bagel. Breakfast bagel, bagel sandwich, bagel chips.... If you don't want a sweet pastry breakfast, and just want a taste of home, come here!

But the reason I first started frequenting this place was for their amazing Hot Chocolate (it's like a delicious pudding of warmth that just makes you feel cozy). They have approximately 40 plus tables for full capacity. There are tons of stuff on the menu. It reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory menu. I ordered the scrambled eggs with toast and fresh cut fruit and it tasted awesome. This place is another local favorite and I think on both occasions we and another table were the only tourists as most tables were occupied by Milanese folks. We didn't get to try any of the desserts as we went pretty early in the morning but I bet you they most probably were excellent too. 5 star breakfast spot in the central Milan area. Would recommend going there once on your trip to Milan.
