Hayward had listed them as one of the repair and parts stores. I walked in and was greeted by some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were also very helpful Jessica Kim Brett and Eric. Even though it was my first time in the store they made me feel like I've been a customer for many years. Eric the repair person even came up from the back and showed me how to install the capacitor correctly. I went home and I got the capacitor on but the motor still wasn't working I thought I could fix it myself so I took it all apart watching YouTube videos. Then I couldn't get it back together now granted the motor was old and I probably should've gotten a whole new motor to begin with. Turns out I broke off the long four bolts that hold the motor together. Eric gave me an A for effort. He put a new motor back on my pump and even refunded me for the capacitor I didn't need for less than I could've bought one on Amazon!! I installed it back on my pump but I still wasn't getting pressure. I called back up to Aqua pool and patio and they sent out a service tech named Curtis. In three minutes Curtis found I had an air leak and fixed it. No charge. My pump is now working beautifully I am so thrilled. I really want to thank Aqua pool and patio for their wonderful associates and for helping me. My son his wife and four grandchildren are coming from Minnesota to visit in August and we are going to have so much fun in my pool because Aqua pool and patio. Marge B. Destin Florida.

The clerk would test it and cheerfully draw a happy face on my results. When I reminded him (weekly) that it was green and cloudy he would call a senior clerk who gave me something else to try, and assure me many people were having the same problem. I finally gave up. When I went to Pinch A Penny they listened, tested my water and said my phosphates were too high. They explained that algae ate phosphates so even killing some off they could quickly regenerate. They gave me a set of steps to remove phosphates, then kill algae, then clear the water. The change was quick. I now have a clean healthy pool. I now have a new pool store. They are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and most of all solved my problem. Thank you!

They ran diagnostics, bench tested and pool tested. Determined the unit needed a new motor unit - that they had in stock. Replaced the motor unit. I suspect they probably had several hours of labor diagnosing and repairing but they only charged me for the part. Yep, no labor charge! So for ~$300, I got my cleaner back in operation. From the beginning, Rick Cox, our designer, did an amazing job of drawing up our pool. There were logistical challenges based on the layout of our lot, and he did an amazing job of working around those issues and really getting us an end product we love! He was also very friendly and very informative about how the rest of the process would go. When it came time to deciding our pool finishes, Morgan Moore, was super helpful. We did not feel rushed our pressured, and appreciated her being thorough in explaining all the options and pricing. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the process. Sean Carter and Thomas Moore were our two superintendents, and they were both awesome! Sean was our main contact throughout the construction phase and did a great job of communicating dates and setting expectations for the various phases. To this day, Sean will still answer, or route me to the right person, to get any questions or concerns addressed. He made the construction phase feel like a breeze and was quick to tackle all items on our post-construction punch list (which wasn't many!). Also, Brazilian Brickpavers was contracted to do our decking and we could not be more happy or impressed. The crew's work ethic and attention to detail was amazing. We'd notice some small imperfections in tile work or with the pavers, and without even needing to tell them or ask, they fixed it on their own. The quality of work they do is probably unmatched and as a result, we've hired them to do more work for us soon! Taking on a large project like this can feel overwhelming and scary, but Blue Haven made it the process so smooth and relatively painless. If you are willing to fight them tooth and nail to do the right thing, they sometimes do and sometimes don't. Their contract is completely one-sided and they lean on it heavily to avoid rectifying problems they themselves caused. If you are considering Blue Haven to build your pool, I am happy to look at your contract and negotiate maybe a better price, but certainly better protections of your investment over time.
