It all makes sense now after reading the reviews. Who would ever think you need to read the reviews before ordering Panera? I ordered well over a month now. I contacted the store immediately when my order was delivered. I ordered a pick two, how do you not include the sandwich at all? How do you not include utensils for the soup? After calling countless times and realizing no one is going to answer the phone I contacted corporate. Originally told 7-10 business days on February 3, 2023 for my refund. Called back on the 11th day. Then told they can see the request, however it is a franchise location and to just give it up to 30 days and it'll be processed. Here we are March 9, 2023 and still no refund or even a call. I did call after the 30 days btw and I've been told now it's being escalated and I'd definitely hear something within 3-5 business days. This is day four of business days, not a ring, email, letter, NOTHING! I'm not sure after this amount of horrible reviews how Panera hasn't stepped in to check on this franchise location as this will be a brand issue eventually. Horrible franchise location! I'm upset this place has such a low rating - I love it! When I was a student at the nearby Northwood University (now Keiser) I would eat at Panera at least twice a week and I never got sick of it! The you-pick-two lunch option is brilliant and you can get two of; a nice sandwich, panini, soup or salad all of which are prepared well and taste great! My go to was always the Chipotle Chicken panini and Tomato soup or Mac and cheese - really filling and set you off for a great afternoon! This was one of the worst panera I've ever been to. Coffee was often out so someone had to tell the staff to refill the coffee container. When it gets busy, the order seems to get mixed up. My friend got a wrong sandwich after waiting for long time. And mine was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes.. Steel cut oat meal was great option but it was luke warm when I got it. My friend and I went here for dinner tonight. I ordered right after her and she got her food within the appropriate time. Right after we ordered it got pretty busy and I had the misfortune of having my order being completely forgotten about. When I went up and asked they had my half of my food sitting there but no one had bagged it up. They then told me they were out of broccoli cheddar soup and immediately after poured the next lady a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. After letting several people who ordered behind me pick up their orders before me, they told me they were out of the bread I ordered as well. They allow you to order online, which I did and was told I could pick up my order @ 1pm. Well when I got there at 1pm. I was told they were working on it. The 2 girls at the register were rude and unprofessional, they made things worse with there smug attitude and had the nerve to complain to other customers how tired she was and miserable this job is.. The sad thing is I only ordered soup, I used to go to this place at least 3 times a week, but the last 2 times I went I was very disappointed, it seems the staff is going downhill also, they used to be nice and kept you feeling like your order was important to them, Now they just want to tell you they are starving and have headaches and hate the job... read more

Really doesn't even deserve 1 star....filthy dirty...filthy doors and floors....Staff is very unmotivated and do not make good use of time management. Out of the 5 times I have been there for a pick up order, 3 times the order was completely wrong! Probably my fault for assuming they can get a single order of soup wrong! I have given this place enough chances. I waited 1/2 for a bowl of soup. I am going to miss their soups but see that Publix carries them so I'll just go there from now on. This is the largest and nicest Panera Bread I've ever seen! Tons of seating, delicious food, clean dining area and full of friendly, professional and helpful employees! The only reason this isn't five stars is because much of the food is slightly overpriced and my breakfast sandwich took a little long to prepare, but overall the experience here was great, and I'm definitely coming back again! read more

I frequent several Panera's for breakfast and lunch. I know what I'm going to eat. I like predictability sometimes. I've never had a bad meal at any panera. At this particular location, for a quick lunch arrive before noon. After noon is always very busy. The cashiers are always nice. Once I was with my picky 3 yo and they accommodated her request of a strawberry only fruit salad and soup only soup. I especially like when the staff offers to pick up my plate. Ordered a pick two for my girlfriend and a tuna salad sandwich for myself to go. Got home and see there is no tuna sandwich in there at all. Basically theft. Also ordered ice coffee but they were out of ice and the ice coffee so just had hot coffee. Get your act together, customer shouldn't have to check their own order for a completely missing item. Standards are definitely sub par compared to DC area paneras. I would say I won't go to this location again but since I'm visiting from out of town that'd be redundant. read more

Came in here at last minute to use the room for a meeting and Greg pulled through to help us out. Orders green smoothie it was refreshingly good.. My son ordered plain bagel.with sliced turkey lightly toasted it was made to perfection. Staff is super nice and friendly and the store was very clean and organized. We will be back. read more

I had ordered a rapid pick up the night before for two dozen bagels with cream cheese to be picked up at 6:45 a.m. I arrive at 7:00 and there are three other people waiting for rapid pick up/catering orders. They treated me as if I was invisible. At 7:15 I finally spoke up and asked someone about my order, they told me the online orders were not coming through. I said, okay, can you just prepare my order now and the manager told me that she didn't have any bagels. How can a bakery not have bagels ready when the door opens? Updating from my last review many things that was of concern from that time remain the same however sometimes hiring the right employees especially in the customer service department can outshine any weakness a company might have. This is the case with the delivery manager Jackie. I am a frequent visitor to this Panera and my visits are always pleasant because of this young ladies professional demeanor and her attention to detail. She not only represents herself well but clearly has the company's goals in mind as she conducts her business. While I am appreciative of her efforts I hope Panera will also recognize that they have a great representative working here. I am going to raise my star rating to 5 based solely on the customer service experience I receive here. Sometimes in rare cases one employee can turn a good company into a 5 star company. read more

This place is ridiculous! The second time we tried to have a business meeting and work with very important clients and we cant log onto the internet. It said its limited data usage. So I go up and ask a cashier AND the manager. The cashier has had a rude attitude ever since we came in. Then when I went up to talk to her about the internet it was even worse! The cashier and the manager both tell me I'm sorry you are going to have to wait until a few people sign off of the internet.....Are you seriou?!? We are trying to hold a business meeting right now and so I'm supposed to hold off the meeting and make everybody stay late just because you can not accommodate everybody with the supposed "free" wifi that you advertise?? This is one of my favorite go to places to eat when I'm either feeling under the weather or need a good wholesome meal that's healthy. They are quick, friendly and it smells delicious inside. Panera reminds me of my mom's home cooking, also I love that I can get some work done while having a healthy snack! I love Panera but I don't love this location. Knowing how busy they are during peak lunch hours I intentionally order my lunch at 11 to avoid delays but they are always delayed. Rapid orders sit behind the counter and are not brought over to the rapid pickup area. They cross off what's on the order on the receipt without actually checking to make sure it's in the bag. The absolute worst service and Steph ever. They totally screwed up my order and gave me everything but what I ordered, I called 6 times to speak to a manager and was put on hold for more than 15 minutes three of those times and the other three times I was told that a manager will call me back. Manager never called me. Called again the following morning was told the managers too busy and cannot come to the phone. I said I want to talk to the manager immediately. They put me on hold for over 15 minutes so I had to drive to the store. I was still on hold by the time I walked in the store and got to the manager who still tried to brush me off. I explained that I've been calling and calling, she never apologized. I told her what happened. She asked me what I ordered three times. I told her, she asked me what the order was under, I don't know the name of the person that ordered the food I just know who picked it up. She was very rude to and she couldn't help me if I didn't know who the order was under. Extremely rude. I told her I was going to call her corporate office and she said fine. My name is Liz. So I turned around to walk out and said oh by the way, I have a receipt, She changed her tune really quick. But now I was pissed so I walked out.. All she had to do was ask me for the receipt to begin with. We order food for the entire office of a hundred people daily. Panera will not be on our list of restaurants to call anymore. read more

Panera bread has unfortunately overall gotten worse. They took away a lot of their best menu items (ie Cuban sandwich) and replaced it with mediocre sandwiches. But this panera is below even the disappointing level of paneras in general. We got an incredibly soggy frontega chicken sandwich, they're always skimping on the ingredients and the prices are for upscale places. Not to mention the service is very slow. I am a big fan on Panera, however I must warn against this specific location. The food is like any other Panera, good- my beef lies within the service. Granted the get slammed with white haired snow birds during season trying to get a sandwich correct is like asking a Panera clerk the square root of something. Bottom line: If you like Panera go to another location bc old people make it hard to get in & out (delayed ordering process) & staff have a hard time making a proper sandwich. read more

Picked up my rapid pick up order from the bookshelf. I get to work and my salad is inside a dirty box and the avocado is full of black spots with some of the peel still attached. Not normal browning from oxygen exposure. I am disgusted and must now survive off the vending machine for the next 12 hours. read more

The place has gotten a fresh paint and decor looks good. It's 5 minutes from home and I'm here a couple times a month. The people are friendly and the food is typical Panera's I have no complaints. My issue with this location is that it's used as office space. I'm siting here now and out of the 12 tables or so 9 have laptops up and maybe a drink. You come for lunch and there is no where to sit inside. The lady across from me has her dog sitting on a chair and is doing business on the SPEAKER. I really don't care to hear her pitch for whatever she has struck out on 3 calls. I'm going to have to go to Chipotle instead, it's a shame. read more

I called and was told it's next to Publix. I never found it and when I went someplace else they said "Publix was torn down and being rebuilt" . I love the food here but tonight was just ANNOYING. I went in and there was no line so I was optimistic about quickly ordering and getting out. Unfortunately the two girls (I'm assuming one was a trainee) were talking to each other with less than two inches between them.
