My boyfriend and I visit Panera often, but it's always hard to find a clean table. Almost all of them are always dirty. Last visit I ordered a BLT and they forgot the lettuce... they also forgot my bagel. I had to go to the counter twice and it took around five minutes because I had to wait in line twice. My boyfriend and I both got the "you pick two" and the mac n cheese portion was very small, it barely filled the bowl halfway.

Tons of salt everywhere

Worst Panera bread I've ever been to. No pride in work. Someone DUMPED salt all over our sandwiches.

Strawberry poppyseed salad

Friendly staff, fairly clean inside, quick service, and yummy salad! I got the strawberry poppyseed salad and it was SUPER yummy. Panera is always slightly pricy so the total came out to over $12 for just a salad but it was tasty and left me feeling full without being bloated.

New Location - Still No Bread!! This has to be the most mismanaged store in all of Panera! The store which is named "Bread" consistently doesn't have "Bread". Once again arrived at 4 pm and there's no bread! What the heck is going on at this location????? Ordered a sandwich - which was made completely wrong, had to wait while they re made it. The lady behind me tried to order bread bowls and walked out shaking her head when they said they didn't have any.

I go to Panera for the bakery and they never let me down. Pecan braids. Bear Claws. Cheese Brittneys. Can't go wrong with sweet bread and Panera does it at a high level.

This is "extra dressing"

Absolutely disappointed!! Since when does being charged for "extra dressing" translate into MORE plastic cups and less dressing!? Whomever owns this restaurant should be ashamed of the shoddy business practices. So bummed we won't be going back to visit, we love their salads (most of the time).

One of the entrances

First of all, as of2020, this location moved 0.6 miles down the street. Very nice restaurant, nice location, great food. Would be 5 stars if they do a better job cleaning their silverware. Despite that, we plan on visiting regularly.

I ordered a half salad to go and this is all the dressing they gave me

Well.. Would have given 5 stars, but they forgot to put a pickle on my plate. Was pretty disappointed when I realized it wasn't there. :/

When I first visited Southern Pines years ago, my mom took me here. I was a little bit skeptical,…read moreI'm not going to lie. It's right next to a gas station and the name...well...let's just say I had questions. Usually it's the places that are a hole in the wall and dives that are the best, though. Let me just say...after I ordered my sandwich and saw that it came with pickles, I was already a happy camper before I tried the sandwich. That was probably around four years ago. Then I took a bite...and it was unlike any sandwich I'd ever had before. It did get a little messy, but what's good food without it being a little messy? Honestly, I'm kind of a mess so it probably had something to do with that. Four years later - nothing had changed. I love going there to get a sandwich when I'm in the area. I just wish they were open a little later. My top three picks are the Birdie, Greek, and Real Italian. You can't go wrong with any of them. I've also tried the Wally, Sand, Pitching, Flip, Original, and New Yorker (sometimes a family member will let me try some of their sandwich...and vice versa). All great. There is just something about my top three though. I love that they are made fresh to order, that you can customize them, that they have an option for gluten free bread, and unsweetened or sweet tea (their unsweetened tea is delicious). I usually get an extra pickle when I remember. They have decent selections for sides as well. Nothing like a good sandwich from Wedgies and a cool drink in the summer! I do wish for more drink and side options...but that's me being super nit-picky. Get yourself a sandwich from Wedgies! You won't be sorry. Sometimes, calling ahead or placing an order ahead is the best way to go because it's usually very busy. Give a nice smile to all the kind people there as well. They do work hard!

Unassuming location, but the capacity quickly became overwhelmed at lunch, because clearly many…read morefolks know how good these sandwiches are. Yes, the bread is quite peculiar but it's delicious, and the stuff between the "slices" is equally good as well as plentiful. I went with the Real Italian and found it full of flavor. Now I'll need to make a few return trips and try some of the other selections.

This thing is an absolute flavor bomb. Stopped into Roast Sandwich Market in Moore County and…read moreordered the General Tso Chicken on gluten-free bread and... wow. First bite I got the hit of fresh cilantro and crunch from the peanuts, then straight into that crispy chicken--perfectly fried on the outside and still juicy inside. The sauce is sweet, tangy, a little sticky, and so good it should probably come with a warning label. The gluten-free bread held up like a champ under all that goodness, which is a small miracle considering how loaded this thing is. Fair warning: you're going to need extra napkins. It's messy, it's drippy, and it is 100% worth every saucy fingerprint. Service did take a hot minute, but we landed right at noon on a Saturday, so the place was slammed. Even with the wait, I'd order this sandwich again in a heartbeat. If you're anywhere near Moore County, do yourself a favor and get the General Tso Chicken at Roast. Your taste buds will thank you--your shirt might not, but that's what napkins are for.
