This Panera has a staff problem. They are terrible at handling orders in the morning. On my most recent visit, the woman at the drive thru register could not figure out how to charge me with apple pay. They didn't even give me an opportunity to enter my rewards number either. Finally, when she finally figured out the register enough to bill me, she forgot to give me my breakfast. When I reached in to the drive thru window to get my food, she snapped at me and told me to wait until she was ready to give it to me. WTF Panera. I would really go there most mornings for a bagel and coffee if not for their crappy employee attitudes. I prefer their bagels to Starbucks bagels but since Starbucks employees are nice to me, I just go there. Panera, if you care, if you are listening, work with your staff. I had the bbq chicken salad on Lone Tree, very tasty lots of ingredients, then I had the exact same thing on Delta Gateway Blvd. in Pittsburg. it was filled bout 3/4 of the way, chicken, dressing and salad nothing more, lamest meal I ever had! at least the lettuce was fresh. read more

I frequent the lone tree location and that one is fantastic. I live close to this Pittsburg location and I have come here three times and every time I get my breakfast sandwich it is either incredibly burned or completely not cooked. Today I ordered the the steak egg and cheese.. waited 10 minutes in the drive through just to get a COLD sandwich, bagel wasn't toasted, steak was COLD and BLOODY.. cheese wasn't melted or even warm. I go inside to get a cooked breakfast sandwich and wait another 10 minutes just to get a chewy bagel, no cheese on 75% of the bagel... clearly this was the same sandwich put into the microwave for waaaay too long and sloppily pit nqvk together ... I will never come back here. I'll drive the 15 minutes to the lone tree location if I really want Panera. Super disappointing... read more

I love Panera bread, this one here is hit or miss. When I go one Fridays the young ladies are awesome fast efficient and fun. When I go on other days like today it's empty and I have been ordering 2 bagel packs for the last 25 minutes. This is ridiculous I don't think I'll ever come in if our normal ladies are not here. Not a great Panera. Every time we go to this location something is wrong. Today they had no baguettes (but they didn't tell us they just put the gross brioche in the bag in its place and I had to ask about it). Also they forgot the soup in my pick two which we realized when we got home. Check your to-go orders! Other locations are much better. It's just new, so basically they need to take their time to learn how to do things such as operate the cash register or take orders of customers. Food is delicious. But the service needs improvement. Portions appeared smaller compared to other locations and if that wasn't bad enough the spoons had crusty old food on them. C'mon, this location will go down fast if they keep this mess up. This was our first time here and probably our last time. No comparison to the Brentwood facility. The bread was hard, the tuna fish sandwich my wife had was just that. Looked like it came straight out of the can. No choice of bread was offered. Tortilla soup left a lot to be desired for the price charged. Baguettes were not soft either. Chocolate brownie was hard as a brick. Must have been old. Definitely not fresh!!! Will stick with the Brentwood store. This facility Not up to the Panera standards I'm used to. read more

I was getting my car serviced at the dealership down the street and wanted to get a bite to eat and not wait in the cold waiting area. I decided Panera will be the first option in the area. I entered Panera and was greeted by the lovely staff. I wasn't really in a breakfast mood so I opted for lunch although it was not posted. I asked if there was the option to order lunch at this time. The woman replied yes and handed me a menu. She encouraged me to take my time and when I was ready she was still there to take my order. I placed my order and went into the sea I noticed that the facilities were extremely clean. I chose a seat and shortly after they brought my meal to me and asked if there was anything else they could grab for me. Being that I am a pepper fanatic, I asked where can I get some and the staff person said wait right here and went to retrieve it. I had no issues with my order and appreciated my soup actually being hot. After I finished my meal, there was a staff member circulating with one of their pastries. I've never experienced this at a Panera. Overall, I will definitely return! read more

My mom was in on Sunday and had a really horrible experience. She ordered takeout for the first time here and the order was incorrect. She went in today and manager, Jake, took great care of her. So it's my 1st time here at this Panera location. My best friend and I decided to use their self service ordering register (whatever they call it). Basically you enter your order, get a buzzer and you pay. Did all that but receipt will not print but they should have that just in case your order doesn't go throughjust like what happened to me. My best friend's buzzer went off as soon as we sat down. She went and grabbed her food. I waited 5 minutes and my buzzer still not going off. I went in and somebody came and ask what I needed. I said I ordered at the machine and that my friend is been eating for 5 mins and I'm checking in if my food is being prepared. He checked my # on the buzzer and went in the back to check. He comes out and said that the buzzer will go off when its ready *duh i know that*. Then a lady (maybe his manager) asked him what was going on while I was walking to go back to my table. She comes and followed me after that asking if I ordered at the machine and I said yes. She said they didn't have my order at all. I showed her my bank account saying i was charged. She looked at it and said BUT ITS PENDING. Umm yea because the transaction just happened!!!. But anyway she came back and brought me soup and said they're preparing my sandwich. I started eating when my best friend is nearly done with her soup. My sandwich doesn't look that appetizing when it came out. Like I always say "NOT MADE WITH LOVE". I honestly have NO IDEA as to why people would eat here. We went at a less busy time of day. The tables were dirty but no one working seemed to care that customers were having to sit at dirty tables. My friend's sandwich was puny and the not so fresh greens on it were NOT washed and barely any meat was on the sandwich. My friend also had the tomato soup like I ordered but the guy who brought the food out didn't even bring spoons. Our soup was barely luke warm. I figured a grilled cheese was a safe bet...WRONG! It was made with a minuscule amount of crappy cheese and the crappy white bread was burnt on one side and not even grilled on the other. Well this was my first time here after many years of going to the Walnut Creek location. I would have to say my food was the same and the drive they was pretty quick. I got the Asian chicken salad and it was sort of plain not much flavor. The cheddar soup was good same as what I am used to. went in tonight and got an lentil quinoa bowl to go. while waiting i heard the lady from the kitchen tell the lady at the front counter that they were out of the lentil soup. i was waiting for someone to come ask me if i wanted something different but instead my order came up. was extremely disappointed to find i got a 3rd of a bowl of soup. not half but literally a 3rd of a bowl for 9.59 + tax??? really? if you ran out you shouldn't rob your customer just ask if they would like something different, i would of gladly picked something else out. every other panera is great but i keep getting bad service at this location. read more

I placed a rapid order online and when my co-worker went to pick it up I realized I placed it for the wrong pick up time (11:45 instead of 11:15). But instead of just making the order when she asked about it, they made her wait until 11:45 to make the order. I even attempted to call them several times to correct my mistake, but of course no one answered the phone. Not even the manager. I am very disappointed in their service because when they first open everyone was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Not sure what's going on but I probably won't be going there any time soon. They need to do better to help customers. And when I got my food my bowl was half empty... for $9.00.. really!!! read more

I have only gone to Panera a handful of times with my sister, who loves it. We go to the one in Brentwood when she's in town. Decided to order on the app at this location because it's actually closer to my house. Got the Pick 2, a turkey sandwich & 1/2 caesar salad, frozen mocha & a coffee crumb cake. When I arrived, my food was ready but was informed the coffee cake was out - no big deal! She asked me what I would like to substitute & the next item was sold out too.. no surprise, it's 6pm at night.. I decided to just get a chocolate chip cookie. The salad was delicious, I love their croutons. The sandwich was okay, over filled with lettuce and cucumber, the turkey was ice cold, not a bad thing but the sandwich was sloppy. I received a French baguette with order that looked to be ripped from a larger baguette and just thrown inside my bag... weird. My frozen mocha was okay, not enough espresso for the price. More like a mocha milkshake. Overall, Panera is a healthy choice when I don't feel like cooking my own food. I'll return, maybe not to this location. read more
