This Panera location can be difficult to find if you are not from the Naperville area. It was a nice respite in a pretty commercial area. Although it is situated in a large shopping center parking lot, it stands separate from other buildings, making it a very nice place to sit outside and sip a cup of coffee in the morning--if you don't mind having the parking lot as a view. read more

This is probably the worst panera bread I've been to. They hire young stoner kids that lack customer service and are extremely rude. They have no etiquette to place a sign indicating that there systems are not working and to not use the Drive through. They didn't even want to ring an order in the front of the store to process my order despite there not being a line on the inside. Will go to the new panera on 75th or fox valley instead of going to this ratchet place. It's no wonder they didn't have customers today read more

Panera is always a safe choice for a nice lunch. I always get their salads and they are always so fresh and I love the choices and combinations. This location has a drive through which is really convenient and it isn't a long wait. read more

This is the best Panera bread in the area. They are opened later than the Panera in Naperville near Westfield Mall. This Panera is clean and their internet actually works!!! Food is always good. Pleasant surroundings but - really? -over $14.00 for soup and sandwich that I have to serve and bus myself

I don't understand why it is such a problem for them to leave tomatoes off my order. Almost every single time I ask for them to leave them off, they don't. This happened at least five times in a row. The drive-through person is so scripted that they'll talk over your attempt to order so that they can ask for your next item without actually listening to what you said. read more

I love Panera but their service here needs work. Ordered a soba noodle broth bowl to go and they gave me lentil and quinoa instead of noodles. Very disappointed. During multiple visits they've gotten my order wrong, and the girl with the dark long hair always looks like she hates her life whenever she's there in drive thru. Not to mention not giving me a receipt for my order so I can earn rewards on the Panera App. They've not given me my bakery items items that I've paid for as well.. My experience here overall was not very good. I love Panera Bread, but this specific one was by far the worst one I have ever been to. We needed to grab something quick so we stopped here and I noticed right away that the place was dirty and the line to get food was quite large. After ordering we sat down to find an extremely dirty table (it was the only table available that could fit our group) which obviously had not been cleaned. We waited for a long time to get our food served to us which was al little irritating. However, the employees were extremely apologetic. I then noticed the soup I had did not come with a spoon so I had to get up ask for a spoon and then wait for one to be washed before I could eat. The food was very good as usually though. The whole time though the one major problem was a lack of employees on this shift. This was not the employee's faults but management's fault. There obviously wasn't a shortage of people working there as there were no signs that said they were hiring. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because of how nice the employees were. read more

I have always liked this place. The bread bowl with broccoli cheddar had been my go to pick since the first time i had it 14 years ago. This place is just like every other Panera Bread I have been to. But the only reason i couldn't 5 star rate them was because they couldn't take a phone order. I'll start by saying that I love the food from Panera and its saddening that I will no longer be enjoying the best broccoli cheddar soup around. The service at this location has taken a significant decline. I came through the drive through last night and girl who was working the speaker last night was so incredibly rude. I left there feeling so unwelcome and my patronage unappreciated. I understand that people have bad days but, speaking to someone like they are bothersome when they are paying for a service is absolutely unacceptable. I will no longer give this location my weekly business and I will share my experience with my friends and family in the Naperville area as well. As a corporation your priority should be to ensure every customer feels welcomed and their business is appreciated. I used this Panera as the meeting place for my girlfriend & myself today. We just got drinks and pastry. The tea and lemonade were good,but the Bear Claw was pretty hard instead of even a little moist. The lady who took our order seemed anything but thrilled to be helping us. And I watched one server wander around aimlessly with the same soup and sandwich for Marla for almost ten minutes. Bet that soup was piping hot by the time she found her....not. read more

This one of the best Paneras around -with friendly staff, clean facilities, ample parking (and its free) excellent bread and wifi, it is a must visit. It gets busy during its lunch rush, but even through it all the staff remains friendly and professional. Admittedly the layout is odd for ordering and picking up food, but otherwise the service is great. I study here regularly on Sundays and wave at all the regulars who there as well. Extremely disappointed with the Naperville Panera on Ogden. When ordering through the drive thru, I am never provided with my entire order. No croutons on my salad, no bread, and if they remember the bread they put in some weird kind and not the normal baguette! Service is the problem. 1:10pm on a Sunday and all the coffee pots said 11:30, with the medium blend empty and bold tasting like mud. Worker's response was "these are fresh, we just put them out." There's a long list of things that annoy me. Bad parking lots is one of them and the one at this place is maybe one of the worst I have experienced in a long time. If you enter off of Ogden, you have to go down the little driveway into the shopping center and then turn in and go all the way around the building to park. The drive-through is very badly set up. Anyway, my order was taken fairly promptly but the person who took it was maybe not exactly thrilled to be there at 7:30 in the morning. I get that, I really do, and I don't expect cartwheels and fireworks but a smile might be nice. I ordered some bagels to take to my coworkers and then I also ordered myself a breakfast sandwich because that sounded good. Not sure what happened but I stood and waited for almost 10 minutes. The ladies working the sandwich maker apologized about half way through but it was enough in combination with the other issues, alas, to turn me off of this location. read more

So this Panera is usually very delicious and gets our orders correct. However today, our orders were so screwed up. We ordered a ham, cheese and egg breakfast sandwich but there was no egg. The sandwich was burnt and flattened. We also ordered the frontega chicken panini, and it was missing ingredients as well. I had one piece of onion on it. And there was chipotle sauce on 1/5 of the sandwich. The chicken smelled as well- it must have been old. The spoons we had for the soups were dirty. But it seems like all Paneras have dirty utensils. read more

I stopped going to this Panera after years of frequent stops when the quality of associates hit an all time low. Recently though they have made some good hires and the associates at the drive through are actually friendly again and orders are accurate. Yesterday, Shawnay (not sure I'm spelling this right) greeted me cheerfully, remembering me from last week's visit and made my day. It's amazing how much good associates can affect a business, both positively and negatively. Thank-you Panera for hiring quality people again. Love your food! read more

I really like the fact that Panera tries so hard to make "clean" food. The quality's really good. I usually get some fancy salad. This last visit I got a Green Goddess Cobb (no bacon) to go and it was so delicious! Mixed greens with big big chunks of avocado, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, chicken and pickled red onion plus a really nice take on the green goddess dressing. Nothing old or non-fresh about it! Yes, a whole salad sets you back just about $10 but it's delightful. I got a multi-grain bagel and it was toothsome but nothing remarkable. In fact, I don't actually find their baked goods to be all that great, and I don't usually order that type of thing there. I've had a cheese danish twice there and both times it just felt underdone. I do like the piece of baguette that you can get with the salad. The broth bowls are also delicious. I like the atmosphere but it does drive me crazy that they don't have menus out at the entrance so you don't have to ask "but what's on that salad?" That's kind of weird. The "you pick two" used to be a good deal but now it's just the same price as what's on the board except you are picking two items. No deal on that! But overall, they seem to be trying hard to up the "fast casual" quality so I keep going back. read more

I am a regular customer, and I come in every Sunday night for my family dinner. I usually always order from the drive thru. Jailin,girl with long pretty hair is always so sweet and nice. When I start ordering she recognizes my voice and greets me, I LOVE how she is able to remember my entire $40.67 order. The food is always great and even though I've had a few accident on missing bread or chips, she always apologizes and offers me something from the bakery, she's such a kind young lady. Panera is Panera. Has the bread. Offers the salad (yikes). Has soup. Soup does taste like it comes from a can. Breakfast works for the wife and me. I wonder about Naperville's Panera. It was an old Applebees, and despite the remodel, it still looks like a re-do. We frequent the Panera in Delavan, Wisconsin often. That place is new, inviting and always packed. I wish Panera had a better facility in Naperville including: fireplace, more cushy chairs, better point of sell with obvious lanes/lines. I won't drive the extra mile to visit Panera. If I'm driving by in the morning and hungry, I may stop. read more

I have been going to this Panera for years now and never have I received such bad customer service. I came across town to get Panera here and read that they closed at 9 online. We got there a little past 7 as they were just closing for a business meeting that they only advertised on a sign taped to the front door. Some costumers from outside let us know that they were closing. I went inside just to double check. Two younger employees politely told me that they were closed and I said "Oh okay, darn that's a bummer I came all the way across town for this" and as I was leaving I received an incredibly rude comment from an older lady who said "Well that's your fault you came". I was very taken back by this comment. I went back outside to talk to the customers who had informed me that it was closing. We all asked to speak to the manager, as they also talked about how they had received rude service. The manager was very nice about the situation, but when she went back in we saw her talk to her employees and afterwards they started laughing. Very disappointed in this Panera. read more

I just spent 15 minutes waiting in their drive thru just to get a tea. It took about ten minutes to get up to the speaker, and once I got there, complete silence for about two or three minutes. I finally said hello, and I was asked to hold on for a minute. I sat there for another couple minutes, and when I still didn't get a response, I drove away as soon as the car in front of me left. This is not the first time I've had to wait an unreasonable amount of time in their drive thru or inside. I try to be understanding about them being busy, but if that's the case, then they need to be prepared for it. It seems like they are consistently understaffed or something. It's unfortunate because I really do like going to Panera, but I don't think I'll be doing this again. The reason I gave them two stars is because I use their rapid pick up service, and that's always worked out great. Now if they could figure out how to be just as efficient with customers who are actually ordering at Panera. read more

I was told they don't have French Onion Soup provided my freezing cold chicken noodle and a sandwich of some type. I have been to Panera numerous times and for the last time, I was very disappointed. The food has really gone down the tube. The salads are TINI. Also, Panera changed the Frontega Chicken Panini, the amount of chicken on the sandwich was reduced significantly and it is so sparse now that customers might as well order a basil tomato and cheese panini. It is clear because the calories of the sandwich on the menu also were reduced. Its too bad because it used to be a really tasty panini, but now it isnt the same and definitely not worth the money! I dont know this for sure but they probably did the same thing with many or all of the sandwiches -which were already pretty lacking. Note: most of the sandwiches aren't even healthy; the portion size is just really small so naturally it has less calories lol. The value is just not there anymore! The product development group needs to focus less on "clean" salads and more on value... I recommend going to Jasons Deli, at least if you are going to pay $8 for a sandwich there is a heaping pile of meat on it at Jasons and free ice cream. read more
