Grilled cheese, without the grilled.
A N.

I ordered a GRILLED cheese. I got the order and no Grilled was anywhere to be found. .........The people are always friendly though. Just would enjoy my grilled cheese to actually be grilled. That's all .......ambiance is kind of noisy but clean

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I absolutely no issues when I are here mid day on a Tuesday. This location was clean and actually fairly empty for lunch time. There are no ordering kiosks here so either use the app or wait in line. The food I ordered was ready in adequate time and was very good. There are plenty of tables at this location and, since this Panera is located in a much larger shopping center, also plenty of parking though spaces close to the entrance are fewer. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt
Melody R.

i like paneras food, so I ordered a chipotle chicken avocado sandwich for pick up, when i got home i took a bite and bit straight into the rind of an avocado, pretty gross tbh..it was also essentially dripping in chipotle sauce, way too much compared to how it usually is

Bagel

I paid $5 for 2 bagels. Nothing added, just 2 bagels. The bagels were thin af and I could fit a golf ball through the hole in the center of it. I could get a whole bag of bagels from Costco for that amount. Not that great of a bagel either. Will never return

Terrible! Incompetence at it's finest! I frequent this Panera often because my kids love the Mac-N-cheese. I'd say in the last 10 visits, only once did they get my to go order right. I try something new almost every time, in hopes I might find something I'll enjoy. Everything that comes from their oven, Flatbreads to toasted baguettes, always taste like gasoline. Today's take out took the cake. My gasoline ham and gouda was awful! The arugula was a few twigs of grass and my Mexican street corn chowder, which I tried last visit and actually liked, well, I got home and realized they gave me chicken and rice soup instead! Worst 50$ ever spent. Why is it so damn hard to ever get my order right? I absolutely % hate this place and every employee there except the sweet older lady who all the young jerks who work there are rude to. Stay away, this Panera gives them a bad name. Zero stars and 2 thumbs down!

Nancy R.

When you order a chipotle avocado melt and a thai chicken salad and they give you a whatever salad without even a tiny-mini-visible piece of chicken and the sadest melt with barely any chipotle flavor, you become a two star fast food restaurant in my eyes. Ps I am never ordering those 2 things again.

For drinks, The bartender was able to use well tequila to make a delicious marg. The Gwarled Cheese is a must get. It was the best grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. There was cheese toasted onto the outside of the bread. And inside there's more cheese, pork belly, and tomato sauce. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. The tots were also perfectly crispy!

Brutal Poodle is a fun themed bar- all metal, all the time- with some to die for dishes. Previously I have had their grilled cheese and well, it's literally the best I've had. This time, I gave their Mac and cheese a try- this was amazing as well. I don't know what they do to their green chili, but whatever it is they do, others could learn from them. Our server was very nice but also very busy. She accidentally overcharged us for a drink and it took a minute for her to see the mistake as well-all good though. Definitely will return here again and again.

Service was great, food came fast, but most importantly, the banh mi was hella delicious. I wish it had a few more jalapeño, but I bet it's a local preference thing, and I'm sure if I asked, they would have added. Also, I'm kind of a pig when I am away from home (hence my search for something light), and I'm always concerned a sandwich doesn't fill me up, but I am stuffed. Way more satisfying than a Subway sandwich, although comparing the two is somewhat insulting to this banh mi. I added the combo that provides an egg roll and iced coffee (I was going to buy a coffee for $5 anyways, the combo is $4. No brainer). Coffee is also delicious, and much larger than I thought it would be. TL/DR - Highly recommend this place. I will come again next time I'm in the area. PS - Tables are clean, restrooms are clean. Bonus.

When you take a bite you still get a light crunch from the crust of the bread. This texture adds to the sandwich's flavorful, grilled pork. I especially liked the light crunchy flavor of the pickled radish which is generously sprinkled on top. I couldn't eat the entire sandwich in one sitting but it was gone before the end of the day! The location is okay. It could use some asthetic upgrades but it's got that hidden gem feeling AND flavor. The ladies working were friendly. I will definitely be back!!!

You must be driving west on Alameda to access the parking lot. There is a large sign there. You can enter the market from the main entrance facing Alameda or from the back entrance off the parking lot. The front of the store has a long wall of imported groceries and a bakery counter offering breads, pastries, quiches, fresh sandwiches (on baguette, croissant, or pretzel bun), soups, salads, and a wide variety of imported chips and drinks. There's a huge cheese cooler and lots of chilled, grab-and-go items. A table offers some kitchenware and gifts. A seating area is provided by the parking lot entrance. I'm on the mailing list which has offered a series of food specials and pop-up events. I was enticed in last weekend by a pop-up cassoulet special. I arrived to find a tent at the edge of the parking lot, sheltering a huge propane wok. The white beans, sausage, and pork belly were gently simmering with a wonderful aroma. What a treat!

I went here right after my blood work at a nearby medical facility (LOL! Oh boy, I was hungry as I…read morewas fasting!) A thought of freshly made sandwich sounded so good so before I went in for the blood work, I did a little search on Yelp to find some new sandwich places and this shop is/was one of the suggested ones. As I am always looking for a new business to try (this store was also up the street from where I would be for the medical appointment), I wasted no time to rush to this new deli to check it out. As of early September 2025, there are only several reviews posted for them; this is an indication that this business had just opened. Based on what those people said, it sounded like a solid business. The store is on the northeast corner of Downing and Alameda. Although this is not a super big intersection, it sure is a busy one. And yet, its exterior appearance (they have two doors: one facing Alameda and the other facing the parking lot) is somewhat inconspicuous or unassuming (it could be good and bad at the same time.) Had I driven by it, I would only notice the Italian restaurant (Olivia) on one corner or Starbucks (on the other corner). Hopefully they are getting much needed attention from people that pass by it. I entered the store using the door facing the parking lot. This is where you will see the seating area. And to get to the rest of it, you will pass the register on the right. Once you make that left turn you will see more stuff that this store offers. Most of the grocery items are on the left side along the wall. Then there is the fantastic-looking cheese room to the right. The deli counter is at the end where the workers will make your sandwich. There is also a showcase where they display some sweet stuff/cakes (they looked pretty good by the way.) This is quite the space (so if you look down from the top/ceiling (not that you can do that), this store is L shaped.) One of the workers (a lady who was at the register) cheerfully greeted me. I already knew what I wanted (as I peeked their sandwich menu ahead of time). It appears to be a limited time item and it's called "The Saint Tropez". Simply put, this is a tuna salad sandwich on a freshly baked French baguette. As the little info sheet at the register says, this is a light, cold summer offering that is perfect for warm weather cravings. I simply couldn't think of anything else so without doing anything further, I immediately asked for this summer sandwich. The price is $15.99 (and after tax, it's $17 with some change. Not necessarily super reasonable (I thought) but I was more focused on the quality of it.) While the lady was making my sandwich, I looked around the store to take some photos. I spotted some interesting European grocery items that we don't normally see at our local grocery chain but I was most impressed with the refrigerated cheese room. I don't eat a lot of cheese anymore and yet, this store's selection is quite large where if you are needing some cheeses for your next gathering (holidays etc.) then you might consider this place to find some interesting kind(s). It didn't take long for the lady to make my sandwich. As I came out of the beautiful cheese room, she handed me a long/skinny sandwich that was wrapped in a white butcher paper. As soon as I got to my car, I immediately started devouring my sandwich. And it did not disappoint. The crispy French baguette was most delicious and was picture-worthy looking. The tuna salad (house made) wasn't overloaded with mayo-type marinade/sauce. Some slices of tomatoes, plenty of arugula, and noticeable amount of hard boiled egg slices. It was cut in half in the middle but I didn't take any break between the halves (told you, I was hungry after fasting for hours!!) This is a nice deli to have within our reach. I bet on a beautiful weekend, they get a good amount of foot traffic because people can stop by here to grab a delicious sandwich and go to Wash Park for a little picnic. Sounds like a great idea to me!

The fruits sandwich made with shokupan bread was light and fresh, an excellent pick-me-up. This is a standard Japanese snack done beautifully. The mixed berries (a Danish made with croissant dough) was a delight in looks and taste. Neither item was excessively sweet. They were just right. The beef curry wrapped in dough, crusted in panko crumbs, and deep-fried was excellent. The curry itself had real flavor and zest, and the surrounding crust was delicious too. Not only a great accompaniment, but also a very cool way to eat curry with your bare hands. A very generous serving too. My brother got the most beautiful-looking chocolate croissant! And my son bought himself a chocolate cornet, which surprised me by being soft baked dough. Haven't tasted them, but I couldn't wait to post this review. I look forward to trying something with cream cheese or custard next time. Unfortunately they were out of the bacon epi, but that happens with bakeries.
