Service SUCKS! Friendly people, but lack in competency skills or something. Seriously. Been going to this Panera for YEARS. Even when it was where Blaze currently is. It started out amazing, much like other Panera locations. For some odd reason, idk if management changed or policies changed or whatnot, but ever since it's been at its new location, it has SUCKED. I've had multiple things wrong with different orders from different times of day and different foods. Sometimes it's something missing completely from my order, sometimes it's something small like they didn't follow a request that was ordered (like extra of something or nothing of something), sometimes it's just a sandwich that I can tell isn't made to standard (like really lacking in an ingredient), and sometimes (well multiple times) it's TERRIBLE CURBSIDE SERVICE. Today, I had another horrible curbside pickup experience. That was the last straw for me. I'm usually a very easy going customer. Like I honestly could care less if things are missing or whatever. I let it slide enough though for years to where I just can't. I literally ordered bagels. Just a Tuesday dozen of bagels, sliced. Not even toasted. Just sliced. My order said it was ready at 6:15am, when I put it in to pick up at 8:45am. I get there at 9:05am, a little late, my bad I think but forsure they should be ready to just run them out to me. Boy was I wrong. 10mins in getting a little antsy because my larger Target orders don't even take this long. Then I see other cars pull up for their curbside pickup and they get their food/meals before me. 15mins in and I note people just going in and out the drive thru because it's not busy. Getting a little annoyed because it's JUST BAGELS. Granted, I couldn't gotten out of the car at this point, but I ordered them from curbside and the cafe isn't even busy right now, so I call. The person who answers acts as if they can't find my order and that she "has to look for it" requesting me to repeat my name multiple times because I guess I'm talking too fast? Meanwhile I'm just like bruh, ITS JUST A BAG OF BAGELS! HOW HARD IS THIS. She brings out my bagels to me. Annoyed face (I can tell because she's not wearing a mask either lol. I don't care because I'm vaccinated and idk what their policy is), no apologies, no compensation request, nothing. That's what you call bad customer service. TLDR; Curbside service SUCKS. Don't use it if you're in a hurry lol. My order said it was ready at 6:41am apparently. Ordered it to be ready at least by 8:45am. Got to curbside pick-up at 9:05am. Didn't get it until about 9:30am. Probably would've been longer if I didn't call. No apologies, no compensation, nothing. I should've just not put in an advanced order and just ordered at the drive thru lol. Will I continue to come back? Honestly? Probably lol, because I like the food! Just be aware when you use their curbside service. This location is hit or miss. The food itself is pretty consistent, but the customer service is the problem here. Multiple times I've ordered from this location, and they've either been out of certain bread or other items from the menu. Most recently I ordered a steak sandwich thru the app, for express pickup, and get to the restaurant to find out that they're out of baguettes. Was given the option of another type of bread, then had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be made. This location is horrible for online ordering, or even trying to call an order in for pick up. No one answers the phone, and they just hang up. When you try to order online, there is always a message that one of the items for the food item is not available. Use the customize button, but when you do, you cannot add the order to the cart. The prices for all the food items are very expensive, and the food quality and presentation has gone down hill. The only things that I would recommend buying would be their desserts and freshly made bread - although the prices are also high. We are very disappointed because we really like their food - but we will not order from them again. Stopped in today for my coffee because I'm part of sips club and grabbed a yogurt parfait. I get to work take a sip of my coffee only to spit it out. I really hate this Panera location. I've been living in the area for around 12 years and every time I go there, they mess up my order. It's really taxing to realize there are items missing from your stapled bag once you get home. And then you have to sit there and decode whether less than $4 is worth the trip back. And if you do, there's a chance they don't have your item anymore, which only makes you lose even more time out of your day that you could've spent elsewhere getting your items correctly. Same thing with the drive thru, having to do the line again only for your item to be sold out. I really only go there to buy bagels and even that they mess up. I've been here enough times to either get good service one day or being completely ignored standing at the pick area the next. The service and quality of this place used to be good, but it seems like it went downhill over the past year or two. Not only was an item missing from my order that I placed today, but my sandwich had a piece of wax paper in it (which I'm assuming is from the slice of cheese). Today was the worst day I have ever had at Penera Bread in a long time ! My 10 year old Daughter and I eat there almost every day ! Several weeks ago we joined the Sip Program for $5.00 dollars only to find out we were being billed $590 each time we bought a drink which came to over $60.00.
