It is a pleasant place to sit and soak up the atmosphere of the bustling pedestrian street. After lunch we walked around the area and this chocolate shop was one of our stops. The lovely owner was manning the front and greeting everyone as they walked in and out. We had a quick conversation with her and she told us that she and her family make all the chocolate themselves. Awesome! If you like chocolate, you'll be in chocolate heaven. There are so many different flavours and varieties for you to choose from - dark, milk, nutmeg, strawberry, orange, almonds, raisins, and so much more. You can get chocolate bars, lollies, or chocolate covered treats. The options are really endless here. Did I mention that they also sell a variety of chocolate fudge chunks? I picked up a few chocolate bars for my dad and brother since they are huge choco fans. I was also happy to support this awesome local business. I'm now back in Canada and have opened up one of the chocolate bars and damn, are they good. I should've picked up more!

Her words were "Make sure to get a hot chocolate at Butlers I honestly think it's the best in the world". Well, she was right! It was so creamy and not too sweet. The whip, chocolate shavings and marshmallows make it even more delicious AND beautiful to look at, and the fact that you get one free chocolate with your hot chocolate makes it even more special (the double chocolate was my favorite). I ended up getting Butlers again in Dublin on a cold rainy day a few days later and then one last time at the Dublin airport as a final farewell. It is truly the best hot chocolate and an Ireland must!
