So I wanted a photographer that would be able to capture the emotions of my (now) fiancée and the vibe of the moment, but with an artistic touch. I am so happy I found Neil, as the pictures came out exceeding my expectations. Neil is a gifted photographer who is able to use all the elements in the environment to capture beautiful pictures. As we were shooting, I could see him racking up his brain to find the perfect angle and elements in the background for his ideas. He was directing us precisely on how to pose and managed to get us looking really good even though we have no posing experience. Also, I had this whole elaborate plan to surprise my fiancée for the proposal and Neil was very patient and engaged in collaborating with me. Thanks to his willingness to play along, the plan worked out perfectly. She suggested times that would be ideal for pictures and sent an email outlining what we should wear and what are some things to expect. On the day of, a Sunday morning at 9 a.m. she came to meet Dave and I at the beaches. The hour went by really quickly but she was great at knowing exactly where to go and what shots to get, so we weren't standing around at each location wasting time. It took her a week to get the pictures to us and it was the longest week of life (only because I'm impatient), but she was great at updating us on the status. I would definitely consider her again when we have an occasion.

Sounded a bit sketchy but turned out just fine. I like the idea of training qualified shopkeepers to provide a simple and useful service, like passport photography. Eliminating the cost of rental space should keep the prices low. We paid $11.99 + tax for 2 nice pictures. Got a free extra picture with the business' logo on the bottom of the card. This will be my new favourite place to go for passport and visa pictures. Before or after, I can go have hoppers or dosas at the many Indian eateries nearby!

I went there after making several calls to the 1 800 number about wanting a different coloured background. I was assured this was no problem. When I got there, the attendant was completely busy with her lottery tickets and said she couldn't help me because, and I quote, "I don't know how to take pictures." Save yourself the trouble, don't go here, unless of course you want to buy some pop or a lotto ticket. The people on the 1 800 number are completely detached from the store.
