First I am not a fan of Fried Rice with Peas and Carrots. I always ask to delete it. And very few put bean sprouts in their fried rice. THIS PLACE DOES! Their egg rolls are really good as well. I moved here from the northeast 8 yrs ago and this is the best Chinese food I have had. The fact that they have a pupu platter won me over! Their duck sauce reminds of duck sauce from the northeast. Last night we got the pupu platter and everything was delicious, especially the crab ragoons, beef teriyaki and chicken fingers. The sesame chicken was perfect and tender. Even my husband, who doesn't like Chinese food, loved it. I could drink their duck sauce. I'm thinking the owners must have come from the northeast! My go to Chinese restaurant for now on! Please do not eat here. I have no idea how they have 4 stars. Me and my girlfriend ordered the sesame chicken and the seafood delight. The sesame chicken looked nothing like pictured and I am still questioning if it was even chicken. The seafood delight was horribly undercooked and had imitation crab and the worlds tiniest scallops. We both are having stomach pains and did not finish any of the food. Honestly would have preferred to eat dirt over this place. Save yourself. This is by far the BEST Chinese I've eaten in the Dallas metroplex and I have lived here for years and tried so many, only to be disappointed. In fact, I had given up on Chinese cuisine in Dallas. A friend of mine frequents this place and recommended it. We went last night for take out. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and personable. It smelled awesome and all of the food is made fresh. My friend recommended the combo fried rice so I decided on that. Also ordered egg rolls. Everything was so delicious to the point where I can't explain it. I would have given 5 stars, but there was one slight slip up that prevents me from giving 5. My friend ordered combo fried rice but she wanted brown rice. I ordered after her and clearly indicated that I wanted combo fried rice, but that I wanted mine made the regular way, with white rice. When we got to the house, I noticed mine was also made with brown rice, which is the opposite of how I ordered it. Luckily, it was very very good. But I would have liked to receive what I ordered. The flavors in their fried rice are amazing and the eggrolls as unique and very tasty. I totally recommend this place and can't wait to go back! I can eat Chinese food again. For many years I have warned off Chinese food due to the taste and heart burn I would get from the food, but I am interested again due to a few dishes I tried below. Everything was made to order so there is some down time if you're placing it to go. Here's what I ordered over a course of 3 weeks; 1st Visit - Orange Chicken with Broccoli Steam Meat Dumplings (10) + dipping sauce The chicken was hot and tender with a good flavor and big portions. The steamed dumplings can be a small meal in itself and I order these all the time. 2nd Visit - Sliced Pork and Snow Peas Hot and Sour Soup (small) + crunchy chips This was my least favorite, because the meat vs veggie ratio was off and way too much sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot and sour soup, this is also my favorite. 3rd Visit - (Appetizer Menu) Fried Meat Dumplings (10) Pu Pu Tray (for Two) - egg roll, chicken stick, crab rangoon, chicken finger, shrimp tempura, beef stick and chicken wing. Wonton Soup (small) The meat sticks are a chewy tasting, possible because being on a stick the meat juices run out and it's like a dehydrated beef jerky. The wonton soup had less meat than I would like and the crab rangoon was also my least favorite, it's cooked to hard with little filling. 4th Visit - (Appetizer Menu) Garlic Honey Chicken Wings Egg Drop Soup (small) Shrimp Tempura (4) Good meaty wings that are served hot and the egg drop soup had a hint of corn favor, but still good. My favorite is the shrimp tempura. It's like little buttery fried seafood nuggets that are sometimes served with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
