Her staff are also very friendly and also excellent hair dressers. She remembered me after only one visit, making you feel special, by adding that personal tough. You are always offered a complimentary drink. I have been very impressed with the hair cuts I have had done here. Although they might be on the slightly more pricey side, you pay for what you get. Well worth a visit for a very good cut.

Telling me he couldn't help clients because doing so broke COVID regulations/increased the environmental impact of using single use plastic products. He also made decisions about my hair for me and the hairdresser, despite not being trained or having any specific knowledge. He told me that hairdressers could not speak to their clients during the appointment because it was not COVID secure practice. This was a lie and I assume this was to hide the fact that the hairdresser has low levels of English comprehension and production skills. I do not feel confident that she understood what I wanted. My hair was awful. It was nothing like the images I showed the hairdresser. I had it bleached, and the final result was 3 different colours throughout due to bad application and uneven development time. I saw a hair colourist at another salon the day after my appointment at Wisteria Avenue who told me that: a. the bleach had not been left on for long enough; b. they had no applied enough bleach; c. the application had been left on too long in the back; and d. they should not have put an all overcolour on first (Mike's decision). The cut itself was terrible, with uneven layers it looked like two separate haircuts in one. Avoid this salon at all costs. I went in because it looked like a cute boutique. But Mike is not qualified, he told me his girlfriend's hair is awful (Why would it be if your partner owns a salon!?), and he was rude and condescending about a customer who left while I was having my hair done when she wasn't happy about the finished product. The hairdresser - while a very sweet human being - does not have the technical skill or knowledge to do your hair adequately. AVOID THIS PLACE.

It was hard to understand what she was saying and at the end, judging by horrific results, we were told, she was lost in translation. She ruined my daughter's hair, turning it from blonde to dirty brown with greenish tint and orange streaks, which were supposed to be highlights. She did colour my hair ok, which wasn't difficult, since all I needed is a regrowth block colour, but still managed to ruin it with a haircut. I specifically mentioned no layers, but ended up with lots of them. So two unhappy customers in one go. The facilities are not good at all. The toilet is missing paper holder and towel hook and has got a wall divider stuck in shower room, The coffee machine doesn't look like anyone would want to use it. We weren't offered any water or tea, although had to spend at least 3 hours in the salon. At the end, I ended up paying a lot of money for a truly awful job, although I was told I wasn't charged for my daughter's colour. And of course, no apologies in any form. Really bad place and not worth a visit. Look somewhere else.

The hair cuts and styling are of a really good quality. The location is good as it is the town centre. The hair dressers are all really nice and do a good job. If anyone is looking for a cheap hair cut or style I would reccomend going here. They do mens hair cutting aswell. It has a really nice atmosphere, and aswell as a nice hair cut or style, you will have a lovely conversation. The salon is quite small compared to some, but feels cosy.
