With our insurance we pay no deductible or copays. They said YES. When checking in, they took copies of my insurance cards. I asked again if the appointment was covered by insurance. They said YES. Upon checking out, they charged $150 consultation fee. I told them to put it through my insurance and it would be covered. They said they don't do that. I paid with a credit card and was charged an additional 3%. So I'm assuming they just want cash. I've been to other doctors for the same reason. They billed my insurance and was paid in full. If this is their practice, they should tell people when they call for an appointment and let the person decide then if they want an appointment or not.

He immediately extracted the metal and provided the right medications for quick recovery. I liked him so much I decide to see him about performing a lasik touchup (I had one 20 years ago elsewhere). After an extensive exam, he advised me that it was possible for him to perform, however, not recommended due to possible complications with my reading vision. His integrity, along with his knowledge and professionalism completely won me over. I will go to no other eye doctor from this point forward.

An unexpected complication occurred during cataract surgery that required retinal surgery the…read morefollowing day.  Although I am not blaming him for the complication, I am blaming him for not referring me to a corneal specialist.   I developed severe dry eye symptoms, including blurred vision, light sensitivity, dryness, etc. He said I had blepharitis and suggested lid scrubs. Despite working in opthalmology, I said I disagreed and knew it wasn't just blepharitis. Having self-referred myself to a corneal specialist and being diagnosed with corneal damage (SPK Keratitis), I am taking steroids, tears, and warm compresses to treat the condition. I should have been referred by Dr. Zudan from the beginning. The glass prescription was not correct as I self referred myself to an optometris.

The place looked dated and staff was not professional looking for a medical office. Thumbs down for getting my business. Imagine if I needed semi- emergent eye care.
