I'm not sure how you do it Roswell, but you never cease to surprise me! It seems every time we come…read morethrough Roswell we find something else a little out of this world. Alien puns aside, we were really impressed at not only the selection but the quality of the baked goods at this little bake shop on th he south side of Roswell. From pan dolce to empanadas, they had everything wr would expect from the best panaderias up in 'Burque or down in El Paso, only Roswell Bakery had an even better price and a surprise we didn't expect. The accompanying pic is of the illusive savory pastry. Here in Roswell, it was a jalapeno and cheese bolillo. Spicy, cheesy, and with a cloud-like crumb, these were heaven straight out of the oven. Even better, they were open early on Sunday morning as we swung through the barely stirring town on our way home. Thank you, Roswell Bakery for giving us one more great excuse to detour through Roswell on our next road trip!

Lovely local business and very worth a visit. The cannolis looked tempting as well. Will have to try if I'm back through this way again.

Stellar Coffee is such a cool spot with an inviting coffeehouse atmosphere. I try and stop here…read moreeach time I'm in Roswell. This time, I was warmly greeted with a smile. With the choice of music playing, and plenty of seating, Icould easily spend a few hours if I wasn't just passing through. The cold brew was flavorful and strong, although unfortunately it wasn't very cold. I also appreciated the excellent service. When I asked if they could make a turkey croissant that wasn't on the menu, they simply said, "No problem!" That kind of flexibility goes a long way. The green chili turkey panini was just okay. The green chili didn't taste particularly fresh, and the yellow mustard wasn't really my thing. For such a cool and unique coffeehouse, I'd love to see the food menu get a little more creative. Overall, a great atmosphere and friendly service make Stellar Coffee worth a stop, especially if you're looking for a comfortable place to hang out with a good cup of coffee.

Was pleased with the coffee Service was ehh. The guy at the front just seemed like he didn't want to be there, which I get it. But that has been my experience here in New Mexico thus far. A lot of non charismatic service, possibly due to too much weed on their time off haha they were pretty behind too, & busy. Lot of orders to fill The ambiance was chill, & hipster. Not much alien stuff going on in there, Interestingly enough. A good spot to hang though!

I admit that on a road trip, my sweet tooth seems to enlarge in size so to speak. Plenty of on street parking, great natural light, friendly and accommodating staff. The display case was filled with goodies, and I went with coconut cream pie. I think the flying saucers and aliens landed here to come eat this. Absolutely fantastic texture , flavor , and appearance. I I don't think I could justify driving down from Albuquerque on a regular basis, but I must say I thought about it.

This Farmers Country Market is located in the same plaza as Ace Hardware, with plenty of parking…read more My husband and I decided to stop by this market this afternoon just because we were curious on the food items they sold and also figured we could pick up some vegetables and other food items while we are on our vacation. When we first entered the store (please note that there are cart wipes by the entrance, which is always nice), I was surprised to see a section at the entrance of different jars of salsa, a lot of which were made here in New Mexico. We also saw some boba milk tea and flavored coconut milk drinks with aloe (which are products of Thailand) and ended up purchasing a few. The drinks themselves are actually not too sweet and tasted pretty good. Pricing was ~ $1.29 per bottle, which wasn't bad of a price. The produce section (all the way to the right hand side if you are facing the back of the store) was small but had plenty of variety of both fruits and vegetables. We ended up purchasing cucumbers that were 2 for $1 since it was on sale. I liked the gourmet cheese section with the variety of cheeses available (which is right by the produce section). I also liked the wine and beer section, which was nice to see local beers and wines made here in New Mexico (which I ended up picking up a bottle of New Mexico made Moscato to celebrate my upcoming birthday). We ended up purchasing a few other items in the store, which pricing seemed to be fair for what they were. One thing that I do want to make mention is that we both thought it was kind of weird to see 2 (separate) people in the store shopping without wearing a mask. I know that an employee saw these people but did not bother to tell them (even though there is a sign by the entrance to inform customers that they are required to wear a mask before entering). But other than that, we had a good experience on this shopping trip and would definitely be a regular if we lived in this area.
