Watson does not have the standard double coat of a standard Pembroke, but he is what is referred to as a fluffy. Fluffies which make up about 15% of the population, have a recessive gene which inhibits the growth of the course waterproof outer layer of fur resulting in a thick layer of silky long hair from the in Grooming requirements are a bit mor difficult. In the 3 1/2 years we have been here, we have gone through a number of different groomers. Does not seem to be a stable line of employment because most places that offer grooming have gone out of business or have changed ownership.\ Most cases, the groomer is doing multiple dogs at one time so Watson would end up in a crate for up to six hours which was for him, very traumatic. Last visit was a disaster because the groomer underestimated how long it was going to take to dry his coat. Trilogy is an age restricted community developed by Shea Homes out of California. As such, there is a community web portal called My Trilogy Life and part of that is a message board and Susan my wife, put in a request for recommendations for pet groomers in the area. Several recommended Michele Hyde who operates Battle Cry K9 Training and Grooming Services and we booked an appointment last Wednesday. We were very pleased. She tries to only do one dog at a time so excessive waits are minimized. Because Pembroke Corgi's have distinctive features such as a face framed by a mane, a crest on the chest and underbelly and the snow-white pants on the rear. She called just to make sure how much grooming and clipping we wanted to make sure we happy. She originally indicated she though it would take about an hour. but it ended up more like an hour and a half. Big improvement over the 4 to 6 hours we have experienced before. Compared to the other groomers, her rates and very reasonable. You drop the dog off and she calls you when he is ready for pickup. In terms of grooming, she did a wonderful job, and we are very pleased with the results. the grooming is less assemble line and more personalized which is a big plus. We were pleased and have already made an appointment for next month for the next grooming session.

The services has been great, there is an auto text message that reminds me of appointments and when they are on their way. When they arrive they park in front of the house and come to the door to get Paris. Paris gets a full groom in about a hour and I do not even have to leave home and she does not have to be away from home all day like her old groomer. Paris comes back smelling great, her fur is soft and fluffy and she has a cute bow for her top knot. I am so glad to have found Loyal Friend, quality service and so convenient for my busy schedule!

I have never paid $210 for this dog to be groomed and she's three years old. I told I like him, but I am not coming back to a you because you work for a company that is dishonest and I think I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well that's how upset I am. I live in a more upscale community and you gotta wonder whether in a nice house like what's what I don't understand I've never had this happen to me before so this company will never ever get anything from me but a bad review and I've never bad reviewed anyone.

I made an appointment five days earlier to get my Yorkie poodle bathed and groomed. I arrived at 10…read moream and filled out the paperwork as a new customer. They said there was an orientation process and if there were issues they would call. By the afternoon I heard nothing. Then at 2 pm 4 hrs later the groomer called and asked how I wanted my dog groomed, I told her and that was that. Two more hours later I was wondering what was going on, It had been over 6 hours and they hadn't called to pick him up. Now the paperwork asked if my dog got scared of anything and I wrote thunder. However when I dropped my dog off 6 hours earlier it was sunny, now it was thundering. I called and was told my dog didn't like other dogs in the room so they were doing him last. Two more hours went by and still nothing. I drove to the business to see why it was taking so long. It had now been 8 hours and I was told they bathed him and cleaned his ears, no grooming. I told them just give me my dog back. I was charged 45 dollars for a bath and no grooming. They did towed dry my dog I guess I was lucky for that. Yikes 8 hours for a bath.

Smokey can be very temperamental about touching his nails cut. Past experiences from past groomers were not kind or a pleasant experience for both smokey and me. I took him to Tisha and although he may not be thrilled about getting his nails cut, he allowed her to cut his nail without trying to scratch or bite her. They have fit them in a time or two, hence they are flexible and accommodating; everyone is pleasant and easy to communicate with; they are timely as well! They informed us one of our dogs fell off the table and to let them know if anything adverse occurred. Limping started, vet was consulted. Partially torn ACL is the diagnosis, visit to the orthopedic vet for a consult is next. We have an email into Posh Pups about how to move forward but have not heard back.
