I get a shellac manicure every two weeks. They don't charge to take the old nail polish off. They're so patient and kind. The nail techs don't mind helping pick colors, making recommendations, explaining each process, and overall investing in genuine conversation with their clients. This is a very neat and clean establishment. Each nail tech wears gloves when appropriate, masks during flu season, they keep hand sanitizer out, and have anti bacterial soap available as well. I trust them very much! You DO need to make an appointment! This nail salon is very popular in the area. Many clients travel from outside of town to have their nail services done here. There are only 3-4 nail techs, they can get behind because they are very dedicated to making sure you LOVE your nails. 100% can't recommend this place enough. Even if they had clearly communicated, we would have left and got services else where, where we both were able to get serviced. They clearly didn't have an appointment, it was very obvious because of there initial interaction. We got there at 5 they close @7. They asked what they were their to get, she had brought a friend to introduce, etc. When he finished my pedicure he proceeds to ask me if I needed anything else, I said no she just needs her manicure. So I called for an appointment several times & left messages. I never received a call back. I finally wrote an email and the owner told me to make an appointment online. Went to my appointment. BUT when we were done, they would not honor the gift certificate. So I had to pay for the service my husband thought was a gift. To me, a customer to the Magnolia House, the clear message was...your husband spent good money with us, but we're not honoring that gift certificate because the person who waited on you is gone. NOT a good way to treat your customers!!! Bad business ethics!!!
