Hi Everyone, My name is Milo the Teacup Morkie. You can…read morefind me on Insta @milo.teacup On February 7, 2024 I took a long and scary journey from Seoul, Korea to Seattle, WA to meet my new parents. It was super duper scary for me traveling alone for over 10 hours on a big metal machine. My parents lived in a townhome in the heart of Bellevue where there were lots of loud noises, cars, trucks, sirens and bangs! My parents didn't think that was suitable for me since they noticed that I love running in grass. That's when my parents reached out to the ladies of #RAREnorthwest @RareNorthwest I heard my mom say that Rachel and Tori must have showed them over 267 homes, and none they thought suited me well to stretch my legs. On August 12th Tori showed my mom a house that she thought was perfect for me: No stairs, front/side and a back yard for me to frolick about... and it came with a Baby Milo door! Listen folks, when you walk through this door, you are outside! On September 10th we moved into our new home and slept in utter peace and quiet. No siren, no banging and a yard all for myself (and the rabbits). Rachel & Tori are, beautiful, patient, kind, friendly, personable, extremely knowledgable in their craft individuals. They always had our best interst at hand and would tell us if it wasn't the right house for us. They know the market, they can predict the outcome and will fight till the end for you! We never doubted their confidence and savviness in their game plan and approach. They held my mom's hand throughout the process, they even gave me cuddles and belly rubs (which are my favorite). Whenever my mom freaked out, they were just a text or phone call away to calm her down. When our offer was accepted, we received a big moving box kit which included literally everything to get packing! Once we got the keys to MY new home, our house was filled with love from the ladies. They stocked our fridge full of kombucha, water, Pressed juices, left a humongeous thoughtful basket filled with wonderful items for the house, snackies, toys for myself, a lush comfy blanket and a personalized sign so my parents don't forget it's "MILO's HOUSE" oh! and they also included a personalized stamp with our new adress on it...brooooooo. We felt so much love bursting from every detail these ladies put into the personalization of our new home. We could not have asked for a better partnership and framily to guide us through this process. You can feel that they are truly genuine individuals who care and love with their whole hearts. A+++ and 10/10 would recommend. Furever thankful for my new yard Rach & Tori -Milo- Now let's PAWty!

We wanted to buy a bigger home as we grew our family, and Matthew took the time to really understand our goals and what was important to us. We felt supported and informed throughout the entire process and trusted Matthew to keep our priorities in mind. Matthew was patient and always in our corner throughout the search until we finally found the right home. He also went above and beyond after we moved in. When we ran into a few issues with the house, including a toilet leak and a roof vent leak, he promptly recommended reliable vendors to help us get them addressed. Overall, we had a great experience working with Matthew and highly recommend him for any real estate needs.

We would strongly recommend Matt to our friends and family in the area…read more We met with several realtors before choosing to work with Matthew to sell our home in Bellevue, WA. Matt wasn't the lowest rate, the highest sale volume, nor did he cite a substantially higher sale price. But his recommendations on prep/staging/marketing; his full-service, detailed, and organized approach; and our ability to speak honestly about expectations really stood out. We also appreciated that he recommended ways to highlight the unique touches in the home, rather than (literally) whitewashing everything as some other realtors advised. His approach magnified the things we loved about the home and the care we put into maintaining and improving it. We were out-of-state during the majority of the sale, and relied on Matt and his team very heavily for sale preparation. He made proposals, got quotes, and oversaw work. Matt was upfront about whether he thought each suggested improvement would pay for itself, and actively advised against changes other realtors had suggested that he didn't think were worth it. He was always clear that it was our decision and also happily accommodated us doing some of the work ourselves. Because of his and his team's diligence we were able to hit our target list date, with a house that was shown in its best light. The local market had become more uncertain: markets were softening and a similar house down the street was sitting on the market after weeks, despite a price drop. We adjusted our intended list price (still within his initial range) and our expectations, but Matt remained confident in the home and how it would show. We got an under-asking offer early, and Matt went into overdrive to solicit additional offers. Ultimately we got a very attractive at-list-price offer, the house went pending within a week of listing, and we had a very smooth closing experience. There's always luck involved, but we expect that with most other realtors it would have more work for us to get the house on the market and the sale price would have been lower.

We looked at some properties for a number of months, but I was wary of various things on all of them. Paul was incredibly patient, and helped me continue to look for over 6 months. The market started to balloon, and prices were surging too much for me to be comfortable, so I backed off a bit, and told Paul to keep sending me listings, but that I probably wouldn't be looking to buy unless something awesome came up. Fast forward to 2019 and that awesome something did in fact come up. He got me a tour next day -- Saturday -- and a rush inspection on Monday for an offer deadline of Tuesday. On his recommendations, I put in an offer and got the place for what I think was a steal! We beat out at least 3 other offers, too. Even through the financing process, the signing, and the follow-up, Paul continues to keep in touch and give me useful information. He is confident, smart, punctual, and incredibly good at his job. I highly, highly recommend Paul and his team. They are excellent.

We contacted Max on a property on a Friday and had the offer accepted that Sunday. Though he represented the seller, we felt that he was also looking after our best interest and helped negotiate our offer to avoid a bidding war. Our home was later appraised for several thousand more than what we offered- which was great considering how competitive the housing market is in Seattle. He offered recommendations for a lender (Dan Pittman) who we loved, and a home inspector- which made the process of buying a home even easier. Overall, Max was easy to work with and was responsive to all of our questions and needs. We look forward to working with him again if we ever decide to purchase another home!

Buyers, please be careful when dealing with this realtor and his listings. Here are a few things I…read moreencountered as a buyer : 1. This realtor is very bellicose and aggressive. He easily threatens the buyer with legal actions directly bypassing your realtor. If you want to frighten your potential buyers away, go and hire him. 2. The realtor provided conflicting information regarding the square footage of the property. He bypassed my realtor and reached out to me directly, claiming that he had two appraisals indicating the size as 3002 and 3200+ sqft, opting for the smaller measurement. However, the seller themselves informed me that the first appraisal stated the size as 2900+ sqft. 3. Do not release your Earnest money directly to the seller, and be wary of agreeing to pay more than 5% of your Earnest money. The realtor attempted to trap us with their own contract forms instead of using WA standard forms. 4. I found that the realtor disclosed my private information, including personal messages and phone number, to unrelated individuals. This is a breach of my privacy. 5. This arrogant person calling buyer POS. Not surprised at all. PS: why you deleted your response? You said you couldn't be happier to get my 1 star review. What just happened?
