I chose this salon because the website mentioned color corrections. A few months ago, I lightened my hair and dyed it grey. When the grey washed out, I decided to leave it alone until I could get it done professionally. What happened today was not professional. I saw Hannah, and I will say that she's sweet, funny and polite. I went in asking for partial foils to lighten the darker blonde and then a subtle fashion color to blend into my dark roots while I grow my hair out. I told her about my mishaps turning my hair green by accidentally choosing a blue-based grey. Her exact words were "blue and yellow make green." She didn't want to do the foils because she was concerned about my hair breaking. So we discussed color options and decided for a charcoal grey. I thought it a strange choice but I'm not a colorist so I decided to trust her. When we finally rinsed my hair, I noticed she seemed to be spending a lot of time rinsing and putting conditioner on. After the third time if her putting something in my hair (without telling me what was going on), I realized she was trying to shampoo it out and knew something went wrong. Once the towel came off, my hair was a horrible shade of sea green - like curtains left in the sun for a couple decades. Like SHE said before, blue and yellow make green. If I had known what would come next, I would have paid and just gone home to fix my hair. I regret not doing so. Hannah used a color remover to get the green out but green is a hard color so she had to treat it twice. Then, and without telling me, the same stylist who thought foils might damage my hair GAVE ME A BLEACH BATH. No warning, no asking how I felt about it, she just threw it in and let it bake. At this point my scalp felt like it was on fire and I could hear my hair crackling. Once my hair was rinsed, she asked if I wanted her to REAPPLY THE SAME GREY. Fortunately I said no because my hair is even yellower than it was when I went in. My dark brown roots are now half red and half brown. As you can see from my pictures, there was still bleach in my hair so I had to rewash when I got home. The breakage is so bad that I have an almost bald spot in the front and my scalp still feels like it's on fire. As a professional, she should have stopped instead of throwing more chemicals on it. I've never in my life had a stylist treat my hair with so little skill. I took my level 4 hair to an 8 at home and didn't cause this much damage! I will say she didn't charge me, which is expected since I'd just spent four hours having my hair ruined. The worst part is that she wasn't communicative or upfront about what was happening and what she was doing. Can't speak to the rest of the team, but I would never recommend Hannah for any color treatments, and I will personally never make the drive back to this salon read more

I love this place! They are very knowledgeable on updated and current hair styles, cuts, and color. I loved being able to get my brows waxed and tinted at the same time too. I wanted a natural looking Balayage and Sarah H. gave me just what I asked for. This will be my new hair salon as long as I live in this area. Horrible horrible cut. Butchered in the back. Stylist talked crap about her other clients. Charged $150 for cut and color, gave her $200 told her to keep $20, she returned $10 back to me. So no, I do not recommend Hannah. I can't speak for the others, but she was horrible. Even complained about a $20 tip to a co-worker right in front of me for such a crappy job. Wow. Thank u, NEXT! Savannah Laney is amazing! Coming from NYC, I was really nervous about finding a new hairstylist here, especially for short funky hair and color. Savannah is not only the nicest person on earth, she is a terrific colorist, listens for what you really want, and knows how to cut a choppy bob. Totally amazing.
