Take I-390 south to Rush and follow 15A south along Hemlock Lake. After passing Johnson Hill Road, Reynold's Gully will be a mile down on your left. Only issue we had was finding a good spot to level the RV. Most sites have electric, but there is no water or sewer. There is a water filling station and a dump station on the way out. Price was reasonable! Park Managers were great! We had an issue with loud music from our neighbor at 1:30am (quiet hour starts at 11pm). Park Manager came and tactfully handled the matter. We would definitely stay here again.

There are 4 different trails you can hike if you feel up to it but we recommend the Gorge Trail & East Rim Trail. This loop can be difficult on the knees with all the steps and unbalanced areas. Absolutely beautiful park and afterwards you can swim in the clear cold water. We had a blast and was a highlight of our trip.

When we reached the end of the trail we were a little lost as it isn't a complete loop. We took the west elm trail back which was more woodsy than the first one. This is a peaceful place and camping would be lovely here (there's campgrounds.) aside from wild birds, we did encounter a rabid groundhog that was going in circles, so be wary (I mean this is the case for all wildlife parks!) Bonus, the bathrooms are super clean, probably the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed.

A nice walk with a lot of scenic views and waterfalls…read more We did the Gorge Trail, went up to the Suspension Bridge, saw Rainbow Falls, made it up all the stairs at Jacob's Ladder, took the North Rim Trail back to the Suspension Bridge, and then came back out through the Gorge Trail. The hike wasn't difficult, and it was a nice way to spend 2.5 hours. The key is to come early, though. We started at around 7 am, but by the time we were back at the Spiral Tunnel, it was pretty packed with people taking in the views and taking pictures.

Worlds End is another fantastic state park in Pennsylvania! There are a lot of sights to see and…read morethings to do. Unfortunately, the weather interfered with our ability to see as much as we had hoped, but we still had a great time! There is a nice visitor center with a variety of historic and nature info available, including some great info on the CCC work that took place in the park (there's a really nice interactive model of a CCC camp too) and how and where the park name is suspected to have been derived from. There is a real snake to look at, as well. A very nice playground is located nearby, and this section of the park also offers easy access to the Loysalsock Creek and the beach with a snack bar, plus multiple picnic tables and shelterhouses. It's beautiful even just to look at the valley walls and the creek itself. There are several gorgeous vistas available, some by foot and some by foot or car. We especially liked the Loyalsock Canyon Vista, which can be reached on foot or by car. It is located next to the Rock Garden, which is a very neat grouping of giant rocks and boulders that is a lot of fun to check out. The park also offers camping and plenty of trails. Worlds End is located within the Loyalsock State Forest, so there is also a lot more that one could explore in the area.
