By far the worst lawyer we have worked with with practices that are considered absolutely unethical…read moreif not illegal not only in Spain but in the rest of the western world. We had to retain multiple attorneys to fix the problems she created for us and still paying for her errors, bad advice and negligence. Working with Rosa not only cost us tens of thousands of euros in damages but our mental health and well being because she botched our very simple residency application and filed an appeal on our behalf without our consent or even knowledge! As a result we were staying in Spain illegally without even knowing it!!! On another issue, she was advising us to close a property in Mallorca with an illegal pool in it, saying everything was okay and the pool could easily be legalized after. This advice was contrary to what every article in the internet says so we retained another lawyer who strongly advised us not to go through with the transaction. Last September when we returned to the island we were told by a local real estate agent that the person who eventually purchased that property has been unable to legalize the pool, has been paying hefty fines and will most likely have to remove it - basically a 50,000 euro problem!!! But even worse, most of the mistakes she makes may not be discovered until months or even years after the transaction is completed. On that note, we strongly advise against retaining her for any purpose, even the most mundane or simple task which would be be completed by a paralegal elsewhere.
