There always seems to be people walking up and down the streets, enjoying themselves as they head to their intended destination. The majority of the shops still give off a 50s/60s vibe while still being very well maintained. There are so many antique shops, eateries, mom & pop shops, and so much more. Driving through today made me a bit sad to see that the famous, historic Watson's Drug Store and Soda Fountain is no longer there and has been replaced with a sleek, modern new eatery. The highlight, of course, is the plaza and fountain in the center of the roundabout. Such a beautiful and peaceful space even tho it is the smack dab center of continuous traffic.

My favorite part are the restaurants because there's endless options for lunch, desserts, coffee, and more. The fountain in the center of the roundabout has its good and bad days. It's very beautiful and peaceful to sit around. Unfortunately, it was under construction in the last couple years due to an idiot crashing into it. Parking can be a nightmare, despite what day it is and time of day. My biggest tip is to park in the free parking structure on Lemon St and Chapman. There's also street parking, but it's almost impossible to find. There's specific areas where you cannot park because it's surrounded by a neighborhood.

Came for Yelp and got to try the coconut match and spicy chicken noodles. The coconut matcha was BOMB, first time trying that combo and it tasted like pandan when mixed together. We added a few more favorites: crispy calamari, garlic noodles with fish and pork tomahawk. Wonderful Asian fusion creations that are compact with so much flavor! Definitely recommend to always have a reservation because this place fills up fast especially towards end of week and the weekends.

We got to try their chicken spicy noodles and coconut matcha. The chicken spicy noodles had the best cooked chicken I have had in awhile. It was super tender and flavorful. The sauce the noodles was mixed in was really delicious. I love that it had a hint of spice and tang. Definitely something worth checking out. The coconut matcha was also absolutely yummy. It had the perfect amount of matcha foam ratio to coconut water. It was super refreshing especially after my gym session. I also got to try the banh mi chao too as well. Everything was so good. The staff was really nice and helpful. They made sure to keep checking on us. I came on a busy Sunday during brunch and they were able to take us in right away at the bar. Overall I had a great time and cannot wait to recommend it to all my friends and family. I will definitely be back to brunch, lunch and happy hour.

This review is long overdue. I have been coming here since they opened a year ago. I don't live in…read morethe area but anytime I'm close by, I make a point of stopping by. It is THAT GOOD and worth it. Here's why: Pros: - The pizza! The variety of pizzas, crust styles and toppings. There's something for everyone. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. You know how pizza sits in the display case and you get the dried out, hours-old slice? Not here. Every slice is fresh, chock full of toppings and flavor. My fav is the fig one (fun fact: each SH has a signature pie and this one is theirs!). My husband loves the pepperoni on Grandma style crust. Their variety of choices elevates pizza to the next level. -Not feeling like having pizza? No problem! They have amazing salads, subs, sides and pasta! Their vodka sauce is out of the world and the fresh meatballs taste like they're handmade by some sweet Italian grandmother. The garlic bread is "bomb", according to my teens. -The staff: always greeted with a smile and great energy. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. - The restaurant: always clean, plenty of tables and seating, and multiple TVs. Perfect spot for a date, family dinner or team celebration after a game. They have patio seating too for those that prefer outdoors. - Prices: This place won't gouge your pocketbook. In this economy, I appreciate the meal deals and getting the quality I pay for. Their portions are big enough to share and there's something for everyone at difference price points. Cons: - Parking can be challenging during busy times. They share the parking lot with a big center but fortunately, SH is on the corner and you're not having to fight all the people in the center of the lot. Honestly, that's the only con I can think of. I wish I lived closer but that's not their fault lol. Please give them a try if you've never been. This is not your average neighborhood pizza joint. You won't be disappointed!

I placed an online order that initially showed a 11:15 PM pickup time, which then changed to 11:34 after checkout. I arrived at 11:25 and was told my order had just come out and was being cut. Ten minutes passed with no update, so I approached another employee, who told me it was out and waiting to be boxed. Another 15 minutes went by before I was informed the pizza was actually undercooked and had to go back in the oven. I finally received my order 5-8 minutes after that. The biggest issue isn't the wait -- it's the lack of honest, upfront communication. Don't give customers misleading time estimates just to avoid an uncomfortable conversation in the moment. I would have much preferred being told at the start that my order would take 55 minutes rather than being strung along with "almost ready" updates that kept changing. Please work on syncing your online ordering system with realistic prep times, and train staff to communicate delays honestly and proactively. Customers appreciate transparency far more than false reassurance.

Eat Drink Pink was organized the same way. You had to RSVP beforehand and for $10 you could sample everything on their floor, visit the food trucks (Burnt Truck and Chomp Chomp) and also listen to live music. The event start at 6 but I arrived around 7:30PM. Parking was much easier and luckily there was no line. I hadn't RSVP'd but that wasn't an issue. They only asked for my ID to get a drink pass. The event was mainly cupcake samples. Golden Spoon had free water bottles and yogurt, Tasty Clouds had cotton candy and cotton candy martinis that were really strong, and Taco Mesa had fruit, tres leches pomegranate cake, and steak tacos. After the cotton candy martini, I sampled the Pink Champagne cupcake from My Delight Cup Cakery. This was super delicious. I love anything with champagne and the frosting wasn't overly sweet and the cake was moist. I just wish it wasn't a bite size piece. Next up was the smores cupcake from Miss Sweetcakes. They had a lighter on hand to burn the marshmallow frosting on top which gave it a great roasted flavor. Yum! I also sampled the vegan cupcake from Luscious Organic Desserts and as much as I love being healthy. This one was a little too healthy for me. I think health food should still have flavor and not taste like cardboard. You should be able to enjoy being healthy not regret it and go back to your gluttonous ways. The evening entertainment was pretty cool. They dimmed the lights and blasted the music. We got up close and got some great shots. Stereofix played their set first followed by Nylon Pink. The latter stole the show with free giveaways, pink beach balls, and their crazy outfits. Overall, it was a fun night. I'm looking forward to other events.
