They have some name brand retailers along with some lesser-known more boutique style stores. I really enjoy coming here on a Friday or Saturday night and listening to the music at Brimstone. The area is very walkable. Most drivers are courteous when you cross in front of them and they yield to you. In an Ideal World, I think Pembroke Gardens should have an automatic covering for when it is super hot or rainy. That is the downfall of this shopping mecca, several months of the year it is just not fun to come here because of the weather. Parking is another issue. I really wish they would build a parking garage because there is usually a problem finding a parking spot on the weekend. That just puts me and then annoyed state of mind when I'm going to a fun place. Definitely come to Pembroke Gardens when you want a fun and memorable they are night out.

Lately, whenever I find myself in this predicament, I just pop into Pembroke Lakes Square. This plaza is BOOMING with yummy places to eat like Bolay, Five Guys, Burger & Beer Joint, Panera, Pei Wei, Chipotle, Jamba Juice, etc. There are also some shops like Walgreens, Home Depot, a boutique, and a jewelry store. If you're thinking this is a hang-out spot where you can spend a few hours, it's probably not. But there's a mall just one block over and other plazas nearby with even more things to do. The Shoppes of Monterra Commons is a new mixed use development owned by Diversified Realty Development Company, which is based in Deerfield Beach. Construction began in December 2021 and it looks like they just need to lease a few retail spaces. This development includes over 100,000 square feet of new buildings over 16 acres of land with 700 parking spaces. The development cost over $10 million to complete. In addition to the stores and restaurants, the Shoppes of Monterra also includes a brand new 175-unit Residential Active Adult Community. Current Monterra Commons tenants include a Brightstar Credit Union, Baseball Cards, Culver's, Huey Magoo's, the Learning Experience, First Watch, Crunch Fitness, Oaxaka, and Cali Coffee. Coming soon is Tide Laundry, Gyromama, and Playa Bowls. There is currently empty leasing space for other businesses. I tried out the Cali Coffee and Blueprint Cookies and loved both. I was surprised to see how busy it was here so it is clearly filling a need in the community. It is interesting to see new development come to what I considered a dead end area of Cooper City. It was only a matter of time before this last large parcel of Broward County was developed. Hopefully Cooper City residents are going to like what they put in.

I find they have been out of stock on certain items for a while. Foe a year or longer. So, why keep the space occupied with a tag for things you don't sell? The cashiers are always pleasant and will guide customers to the correct aisle they need. Prices are about average. I don't find a lot of it to be lower priced. For me, it is convenience when I am.in the shopping center.

The atmosphere was uncomfortable and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. What made the experience even worse was the behavior of associate Marisol. She was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and dismissive while assisting customers. Customer service should never make people feel disrespected or unwelcome, but that's exactly how this interaction felt. Instead of being helpful, her attitude came across as confrontational and careless. This location seriously needs better management, improved customer service training, and more accountability for how employees treat customers. Shopping here was frustrating and unpleasant, and I hope corporate addresses these issues before more customers have the same experience.

Garden Promenade is a spacious 32 acre corner shopping plaza with a diverse range of stores and places to eat. I stopped in to check out the new Daiso which is a popular Japanese discount store. This is the first one to open in South Florida. It drew crowds who were waiting over an hour to even get in. I ended up hanging out after to check out a few of the other businesses. If you like discount shopping, this is a great plaza. There are 46 businesses in this plaza. These include Ross, Marshall's Old Navy, Burlington, dd's Discounts, Dollar Tree, Shoe Carnival, #1 Beauty Supply, Rainbow Shops, and America's Best. There is also a Wawa, McDonald's, and Advance Auto Parts. You can pretty much get anything you need in this plaza making it very convenient for shoppers.

It's located near the intersection of Pines boulevard and N University Dr. There's lots of parking and the shopping area has a modern look.
