I bought some of their caramel corn at Vons recently. It was excellent and I plan on buying more.

The one I tried for the first time today was the rose gummy bear. Omg. Soooo good. I wish I bought a bag of just those. Well next time for sure. Clean and organized store. Great customer service. The place immediately caught our eye. The front window shows a giant teddy bear and the inside is bright, modern, and so well organized that we just had to walk in. Right when you enter there is an entire wall of cotton candy which is my personal favorite. Beyond that there are rows of pastries and macarons, imported sodas and specialty drinks, plus big sections of taffy, jellies, and candies from all over the world. It honestly felt like a candy wonderland. We filled a bag with a mix of everything to celebrate our anniversary weekend and enjoyed it over the next couple of days. Every piece we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the store was spotless and beautifully designed. Whoever put the space together clearly cared about every detail because it draws you in the moment you see it. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a fun treat while visiting Palm Springs this is a perfect stop. We left completely happy and will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Unfortunately I think this place relies on its location and not on products or service. There is so…read moremuch potential here, but what you have is an aging store that is more "needs attention" than intentional nostalgia. The candy is old and definitely not fresh, the date shakes were meh at best (tragic, considering where it's located) and a cashier that seems as happy to be here are the stale candy and outdated decor. Definitely a "will not return" and that's a shame.

Now we could've gone to Great Shakes (review: https://yelp.to/mzOC66QAth), but there was a line and we just had no patience. So we walked over to this place because only a handful of people were in here. It wasn't a shake shack but a sweets shop, an old-fashioned, family-run operation. There was just one woman behind the counter, and she was busily handling orders for chocolates and candied apples. We waited our turn and ordered a couple of the $7.99 Date Shakes (Photo 9). They were fine, even without the mini-donuts Great Shakes serves with theirs. I need to give her credit for making it from scratch without any help from the rest of the family. FOOD - 3 stars...good date shake, no frills AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...look at all those sweets! Like literally multiple times a month (I have a membership to get the deals lol) and it's my husbands favorite place when he has a sweet tooth craving. I love to gift the little toffee tins to family and friends, it's such a signature part of PS and the Coachella Valley. My mom and mother in law both love the toffee here too! Great place to grab some ice cream and people watch. Especially during tourist season or on Thursday Evenings during Village Fest.

It's sweet, chocolaty, crunchy,, nutty and has rich caramel goodness. But be forewarned, once you eat this you will never ever be able to enjoy any other brand of caramel again. This is it, the pinnacle, the best, better than best delicious. Don't take my word for it. Walk by and get a sample, then buy a bag. It won't make it home so better buy two bags so your spouse won't be mad at you for eating all the candy on the way home. Maybe get three bags just to be sure. Highly recommend.

We came in on a Sunday and it was completely empty--just me and my two kids. The lights in the large kitchen behind the glass were off, and most of the lights except the ones near the counter were off too. There was only one person working. It felt a bit quiet and subdued. My kids' excitement about going to an ice cream shop quickly turned into confusion and wariness of my promises. While the cashier had to make all 3 of our shakes after taking the order, she was super friendly and patient throughout, even offering my kids extra toppings and sample popcorn on the side. The great service could have easily been th best part of the experience had the toffee not tasted so good. I ended up getting the toffee popcorn and the toffee bites for myself--both were delicious. It is not inexpensive so I'm not sure I'd say the taste fully justifies the price. That said, the toffee is really, really good, so I'm trying to make it last as long as possible. Overall, I'm glad we stopped. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out, but if we were nearby again, we would definitely stop by.
