Most neatly and organize liquor store with great service. They have a wide variety from produce to liquors. It's a one stop and shop place.

Cee Vee's Liquor and Deli is a place I really wanted to like. It's been around for at least 3…read moredecades and I had never been inside until the other week when my brother was getting a haircut at "Gentlemen's". I had some free time and decided to finally pop in for a visit. But first, a little history. Once upon a time, Cee Vee's used to be called "Couch Potato Video Store". That's right, it's a mom-and-pop video store back in the days of The Warehouse and Blockbuster. Ya'll remember VHS and DVDs, right? Just as Redbox and Netflix became a nationwide sensation, such local stores began to decline. The owners of this shop must have seen the writing on the wall, as their signage began to change around the mid to late 90's. They branched out to become a liquor store and a deli, eventually phasing out the video store entirely and solely to the convenience store route. In 2005, a tragedy occurred where the store owner and a young clerk were gunned down in a robbery. It rocked the local community, as the two were very well-known and popular. The store since has new owners, but the specter of this remains. Cee Vee is located on Palm Ave., in the same plaza as Jenny's Diner, I Love Sushi, Ramenkoko, and The Green Frog. The plaza itself has quite a few food places that came into being long after Cee Vee's was there. The problem with the plaza itself is that more "unsavory" types tend to hang out at night. Sometimes homeless, sometimes spill-over partiers from The Green Frog. So visiting the spot at night is a tad dicey. So now for my visit itself. The inside is actually quite big for a Liquor Store, and their selection of goods is better than I'd expect. Their soda selection was surprisingly impressive and they even had some hard-to-find Japanese Selections like Ramune. The outside signage mentioned Craft Beer; so of course I was intrigued. At first, their beer selection seemed fairly basic, but then I found their "Beer Cave" against the far wall, and decided to peruse their selection. Sooooo.... yea.. Their "Beer Cave" turned out to be a large walk-in cooler with shelves of beer. I was a little confused, though, as none of their "Craft Beers" were any I had ever heard of or were familiar with. And there were NO local Craft Beers at all. No Hangar 24, no Ritual, and not even anything from Stone. This was puzzling. I finally found a couple of selections I was somewhat familiar with and checked out their offerings when I noticed something peculiar....they were all past their expiration dates. One was even 6 months past its date. Needless to say, this was concerning. A quick look on Yelp revealed many others reporting the same thing. That made me remember something. I noticed that the temperature inside the Beer Cave was *very* cold; almost uncomfortably so! What i suspect is going on is the owners aren't on the ball enough to rotate out/change their inventory and are trying to keep what they have colder in an attempt to keep it "fresher" longer since it doesn't seem to be selling well. Either that, or nobody's buying these off-brand craft beers and they are trying to extend the shelf-life of their inventory hoping it will sell. Either way, it seems rather shady. This place really has a lot of potential, and one of the owners I talked to seemed really proud of their Beer Cave. But I really think it needs some work. They need to feature quality offerings from local places and beyond that people have heard of, and they really need to rotate out their expired inventory before they get sued. If much of their beer selection is expired then it makes me wonder if they let the dates on their food and soda selection lapse too. If you're visiting here, keep an eye out and if you see this going on, try to have a polite conversation with the manager or owner about this. If they are open to feedback, then this place could really rise up and become great. Otherwise, they will continue to remain at 2 stars. Food for thought! And not expired food either! Final Note - I don't really see it as a "Deli", despite the name. I didn't see any deli located inside. Maybe a vestige of one of its previous incarnations.

My absolute favorite place to go to. Everyone there is always so nice and they always have what I'm…read morelooking for. Brandon especially he has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. This store is and always will be my go to.
