I only have 2 complaints: beds were a little too firm, and the AC was a little too noisy. I knew there was nothing they could do about it, so I just ran the AC all day while I was out and about, and shut it off at night. Slept just fine. I was skeptic at first, about actually having to call and make a reservation, but I am glad I did. Saved a lot of money by staying here, and it got the job done.

Beginning our adventure we ride up the hill to enter the Spa which provides Valet with the service * we were greeted by our Valet driver Joshua, young man who was first smiling face welcoming us and congratulating my mom on her day- and our first time coming to the resort. He took our beautiful pictures when we arrived- than you! As we wrapped our way into reception we were greeted by Jasmine and she offered us tea or lemon water as we checked I , as we crossed our T's we were then greeted by a wellness member who toured us through the property to show us what the spa offered in our day to our choosing. Flora was the locker room attendee and the enthusiastically offered to take us to see the beach side entrance which we were so excited to hear. I want to greatly appreciate the duo working tirelessly and kindly on the beach; first thing in the morning they were moving the Lounge chairs, staking the beach umbrellas, bringing out towels all with a lovely warm smile and "is their anything else I can get you " attitude. It's not everyday you are greeted with sincerity and it was hugely felt. So to Loverage and Osama THANK you for going above and beyond and making sure to always look over and offer your time and support for my mom, who struggles with longer walks - but she was so happy to make it! Big appreciation for you both. Also, Jackson you made beach walking and hosting look easy. Your friendly attitude, big smile, and upbeat conversation carried our hungry thoughts to calm and easy breezy mindsets. In…read morethis area we've previously stayed next door at the Marriott and several times at The Breakers (one of our favorite places in the world) so we had a good baseline for comparison. Upon arriving at Amrit, we noticed the only handicapped parking spot was open, so I told the valet I wanted to park there. He said he didn't see an issue but needed to check with the manager. The manager came over and told us the property is valet only and refused to let us use the one and only disabled spot. That was a strange start, especially since it's a clear ADA violation. During check in I spoke with Claudia, who was very kind throughout our stay and tried her best to fix several issues that came up, but even after speaking with the front desk manager they didn't offer any real solution. When we entered our room, we noticed the two water tumblers (part of the Edit program benefits) were missing. We went to the front desk and mentioned it to a young lady who implied they must have been there because "it's part of making the room," which led my fiancée to ask, "Do you think we took them?" Nothing arrived, so I called again later, and they finally sent the missing tumblers. Later that afternoon we went out to the balcony to enjoy the golden hour and open a bottle of champagne. When we tried to go back inside, the door jammed and we were locked out. It was extremely stressful, but thankfully my fiancée had her phone and called the main number. When staff arrived, they confirmed it was a malfunction and said they would move us to a "fresh room," but that never happened, the hotel was pretty full, so they sent maintenance to fix the door instead. Now for the positives: the restaurant service and food were excellent. Edgar took care of us three or four times and was consistently friendly, fast, and full of good recommendations. He genuinely made our stay more enjoyable. The beach was a great surprise, the water was as clear as I've ever seen in Florida, and the seaweed was under control. Service there was hit or miss; unless you ordered something substantial, servers didn't seem interested in bringing water or checking in. But then we met DJ and Brandon, who completely turned things around. They saved us spots for the next two days and made sure we had everything we needed. We also used the spa facilities. The steamroom was out of service, but the sauna, pool, and cold plunges were fun and kept in excellent condition. One last note: we went out three times for dinner at a nearby restaurant we loved, and every time (including checkout day) we saw valet staff using the disabled parking spot for cars without proper tags and even blocking access to it with another vehicle in front. So I guess the valet manager took the whole situation personally and made sure things stayed his way. In conclusion, if you remove the parking incidents and the balcony scare, this could have felt like a five star getaway, and we probably would have returned. But taking everything into account, it's hard to justify driving over an hour and passing The Breakers to come here again.

They come fully furnished with all the dishware, silverware, large/small appliances & furniture you could need. * Large appliances: 4 burner stove/oven, full size fridge/freezer, very efficient a/c throughout, ceiling fans in living/bed rooms. * Small appliances: Single cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, m/w. Plenty of pans/pot with lids. * Screaming fast, reliable WiFi, 2 flatscreen TVs utilizing Roku with free Netflix, Amazon Prime & a handful of other services/channels that let you binge watch Sopranos & 100 other shows you may have missed. * Lots of outlets in every room for your electronic devices... none are grounded, so you may want to bring your own surge protector. He's always available by text or phone, is very fair with his tenants & his prices are fair... $500/wk give or take, but it's a good deal if you are in transition & don't wish to sign a long term lease or open accounts for utilities, which are all included. Good to know: * You will hear the train running a block away day & night, but I love the sound of the train. If in the bedroom, you can't hear it, so it shouldn't keep you awake or wake you. * This particular complex is on 2 floors, no elevator. Good to know should you need handicap accessible accommodations. If not, keep in mind, he's almost always filled up, so if something is available, jump on it. He offers great accommodations, that are aesthetically pleasing & comfortable, so open units fill up fast & most tenants average a 6-mo stay. * All tenants pay via the Cash Pay app, as it's quick & convenient. A glitch I discovered while there (as I don't use phone apps) is the 1st time you use a new account, you need to pay via your Smartphone... afterwards, you can use your laptop or tablet. In addition, the app is built on an Apple platform, so if you don't have an iPhone, you may occasionally run into glitches... just an FYI. Customer service is available only via app or email, not phone (a pre-recorded msg refers you to their phone app contact form) & my experience is they're not well trained... it took 4-hrs & 3 not very technically savvy employees to just get the above info, which is stunningly absurd. I learned more by spending hours reading their TOS & watching YTube vids on how to utilize the app's features/troubleshooting. As a former software designer, their platform is poorly designed & not entirely user friendly, but once you get your account up & working, you should be fine. * If you drive-by to view the property, don't judge it by the outside, which is a bit weather worn. It was built in 1966, but the inside is fully updated & brand new. Cons: * Just my preference, but the sofa & bed are soft foam. I like firm & they bothered my back. For others, it may not matter. That turned out to be a massive lie. This place is a complete dump. We arrived on Friday and were checked in by an older woman who was easily the rudest front-desk employee I've encountered in years of traveling. When we entered our room, we were immediately hit with a strong, unpleasant smell of mold, old furniture, and filthy carpet. The room appeared completely untouched by any updates since the motel was originally built. The in-window air conditioner reeked like an ashtray the moment we turned it on. The sheets were so questionable that we immediately drove to Target to buy our own, along with new pillows. I ended up spraying an entire can of Lysol on the carpet, beds, and bathroom. The walls had numerous stains, including one that looked suspiciously like urine. The only remotely positive thing about the room was that the mini-fridge actually worked. Unfortunately, the night-shift employee was overheard by my wife yelling at a customer on the phone and using foul language. The parking situation is ridiculous. The spots are extremely tight, and the layout forces you to back out directly into traffic since backing in isn't allowed. The location itself is poor--you're subjected to loud bass-heavy music from passing cars all night long. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. They do criminal background checks on all residents and deny entry to anyone with a criminal history. The rooms are updated and modern, clean and well taken care of. There are large flat-screen TVs with every channel possible (including HBO, etc), wifi and keyless entry. The manager is a former sales director for large hotels with big corporate accounts and is a trustworthy, professional person. Lake Worth is a pretty rough place (but not really dangerous, I don't think there's much violent crime). There are many of the infamous fraudulent drug rehab centers and "sober houses" here (see the Megyn Kelly story from NBC News), and as a result you see drug addicts and prostitutes walking along Federal Hwy and Dixie Hwy. This motel is an island of safety and cleanliness in a sea of ugliness. All the other motels in this area are nasty, dirty and scary. Don't stay anywhere else in Lake Worth if you need a weekly, extended-stay option.

You are close to the famous retail plaza known as City Place. So if you want to hit up Bar Louie or the movie theater. All in all this place was cheap and stylish rolled into one. No there isn't an ice machine but they give you ice cube trays in your freezer to make your own ice. You could stay at a Hilton or a Marriott for $250 a night or you can stay here for half the price you decide I feel I made a great choice and I am a diamond Hilton member and a lifetime titanium Marriott member and a globalist with Hyatt but I just relocated to West Palm Beach and I'm apartment hunting.
