I am not spoiled and don't need much, but for the service and amenities offered the price is too much. I booked for four days. I checked in at the computer without a problem (although later I saw that the computer froze). However, the computer check-in is only good for the first night (which I overlooked, my mistake). The next morning the manager at the reception did not remind me of that issue and I wasn't able to get into the hotel that night. Had to sleep in the car! However, that didn't keep them from charging that night to my credit card. I asked them why they couldn't call me or send an email, the answer was that that kind of service is not included in the service of a ` star hotel (but charging the card is easy, so that is included). Also, after I came back the first night, the door to my room was open and the manager blamed me, but I was sure that I closed it and checked that it was closed (I first asked to change to code for the door, which they cant do, but got a new room. But the manager failed to inform me of the issue with the payment). The room is clean, but the shower and toilet reminded me of those in an RV. The sink was across the room from the toilet, so not very practical and there was no trash bin next to the toilet. The entry area of the hotel and the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Not very pleasant.

The hotel is located at the Kennedy Platz which is one of the main sqares in the center. If the weather is good you can just walk out of the door and sit outside in one of the bars and café s around. They can also be an alternative for breakfast if you do not want to have it in the hotel. We did not try it. 7,50 EUR. If you traveld by car it is likely that you need to use one of some public car parks. Today is our first day and yesterday we were lucky and found a place on the street where parking is free of charge 8pm 10am. Rooms are sufficiently but not very larg. Bath room fairly small, but ok. Very clean. Bed quite comfortable (I like the matress a bit softer, but it was ok anyhow.) No wardrobe, but alternatives are available. In a nutshell: good! Especially for the price. Alternatives I can recommend: Mövenpick near by and Rheinischer Hof 5 10 minutes away by car, in a nice neighborhood.

So war der Aufenthalt preiswert. Allerdings bekam ich gleich einen Meldezettel unter die Nase geschoben, der wohl nur dem einzigen Zweck diente, herauszufinden, ob die Kids wirklich unter 12 sind. Das war ein bisschen ätzend, aber verständlich.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Es war ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und viele Speisen waren sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen. Parken ist kein Problem.Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin.
