But, hey, it's half off so it's still worth it. On other days, it's still not a bad price. Flavors don't rotate too much but there are some good ones- cheesecake, Madagascar vanilla, coconut and plain tart are my favorites. The white chocolate sprinkles are amazing, I could eat a whole bowl just of them!! update: I had to take a star away because of the insanity that occurs on 2-for-1 thursdays. Sure, it gets crowded, but the toppings were downright dirty last time I went. Like, there was a hair in the sprinkles. GROSS. No more Thursday Yogurtland for me, thanks.

The ice cream shop is nice but they have a very limited selection of ice cream. I ordered just a single scoop of the most colorful ice cream they had called boom boom. It tastes very fruity almost like marshmallow which was quite a difference to the usual coffee that I had been sipping on. There was nowhere to sit so I went on back to the chin cafe where I started from. The other cafes along the same street had tables along the sidewalk, and I'm not sure why this place didn't have those. The ice cream also seemed maybe a little bit over-priced, but it was still delicious.

A single small scoop was $50 MXN (~$2.50). I think a double was $70 MXN, but I could be wrong. They also had a cute little dog cup option. Favorites: - Queso de cabra con ate de membrillo: goat cheese with quince paste - my favorite - Albahaca con chocolate: basil and chocolate - Cafe: legit coffee ice cream - strong with just the right amount of sweetness. Ice cream textures were smooth, and the flavor was not too heavy nor sweet. They were very nice about letting us sample.

The vanilla, chocolate and fruit sorbets are all very good and refreshing. I was lucky enough to try most flavors. My favorites are the platano con dulce de leche, the chocolate a la naranja, queso de cabra con membrillo, and the requeson con fresa. Nice flavors included the jenjibre, lychee frambuesas y rosas, and limon amarillo. The prices are fair and they offer affogattos too.

I thought my rancheros del ojo was good (not great, but fine). My husband didn't like his meal though. So at the cost of 800 mxn (about $40 USD right now), I don't think it was worth it. The server actually recommended some of the American dishes for breakfast, so this place may be best for just juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, and pancakes, etc. But the Mexican dishes were just okay overall. The space is beautiful though! There's a patio for warm days and lots of seating, including upstairs. Their fresh juices were great as well.

I ordered the medium size, and split it between two flavors, the only two they had which were made from dairy. He gave me names in Spanish, but I really don't remember what they were. I think one was Penguin. Regardless, both flavors were delicious! The ice cream was creamy, with delicious little chunks of chocolate, toffee, cookie, and probably more that I can't name. Before committing to a flavor, I asked for a sample through gesture and the owner was nice enough to offer me a generous scoop. The medium size was just the right amount, perhaps even a bit more than I needed considering how much my stomach has shrunk in Mexico. The serving was quite generous, and the price was only 25 pesos- with this kind of quality such a price can't be beat!

This…read morelocation is located by the city center and after sight seeing, my husband and I decided to stop by here for churros. Luckily when we came last Sunday, around 2 pm, there was no wait for a table. An employee saw us and told us to sit anywhere. As soon as sat down, another employee brought us menus. We ended up getting: Grande Lechero, $54 MXN ($3.13 USD)- Large size coffee with milk. When our server brought over my husband's drink, she made a grand show of pouring the milk up high into my husband's coffee. I just wished I had gotten a video of it but it was definitely very fun to watch. My husband said his coffee was good (I didn't have any because I am not much of a coffee drinker). Combo 1 with Grande chocolate drink, $155 MXN ($8.98 USD)- So this combination comes with 4 large pieces of churros, 1 dip of your choice and also a chocolate drink. I ended up choosing a Mexican hot chocolate, which is made with cinnamon and sugar. Surprisingly the drink wasn't overly sweet. And really was perfect to dip my churro into the hot chocolate. For the dip, I picked cajeta, which is caramel made with goats milk. The cajeta was excellent with the churro. I don't know if this was the best churro that I have ever had, but it is definitely one of the top ones I have ever had. My husband also enjoyed the churros and the cajeta (he also liked my hot chocolate too). --------------------------- (Total= $209 MXN or $12.11 USD prior to tip) Wait time for our items was pretty quick. We waited less than 10 minutes for everything. Also credit card is accepted so my husband paid (We have the Costco Visa credit card which does not have a foreign transaction fee, which we used exclusively when we were not paying cash). Our server brought a card reader machine to our table when we were ready to pay (for those of you unaware, in Mexico, you will not be brought your check until you ask for it because it is considered rude to give it to you beforehand, assuming that you are being rushed). Overall, we had a really great experience at this location and highly recommend checking out any of the Churrería El Moro locations the next time you visit Mexico City.

Got an order of 4 churros with caramel (cajeta) and guava (Guayaba) dipping sauces, they were out of chocolate. You can have them tossed in regular sugar or cinnamon sugar which is traditional. The churros were warm and crispy on the outside and soft inside but had a slight burnt flavor. Both dipping sauces were good but in a different way. It's like donuts topped with caramel or guava, one is more fruity and the other more sweet. Just depends what you're in the mood for or what you prefer. I also got the frances hot chocolate which is their hot chocolate with vanilla. It was better than what I had earlier at another place. Overall the churros were good but not the best i've had.
