We already had dinner reservations for the next night, so we settled for drinks after dinner with the view. Lovely views and romantically low lighting give this rooftop scene a nice vibe. Our server was helpful, and we enjoyed the cocktails, but it was good we ate dinner before because their small plates menu had nothing gluten-free. For cocktails, though, this is the perfect spot!

Our group ordered- truffle pasta, cheese crusted pork loin, bolognese and shrimp tartar spaghetti. The best was the truffle pasta (if you like truffle, you must try it). The bolognese had rosemary which threw me off...I would have liked it more as apart of the garnish, than cooked in the sauce. The cheese crusted pork was delicious and I normally don't care for pork. The shrimp tartar spaghetti was mediocre...chile oil sauce and the shrimp tartare is just not a good combination. I don't order that for a reason (my husband did and said he would've gotten something else). Service and ambiance were great and we would go back. It's located in the heart of Bernini Square.

The location is right in the middle of Piazza Barberini, so people are passing by your table constantly and looking at your table but that's part of the experience! You can also sit inside if that bothers you. We started with Fritti Maximi which were so satisfying and went real well with the white wine we ordered. Then the highlight was the Tagliare platter which was fresh, delicious and definitely a must. We were full but I really wanted to try the skewers and what a delight to finish the meal with these little skewers of grilled meat which were crunchy and delicious. This will be the very first place we would go back to, when we visit Rome again.
