My son rented a home from Gene at century 21 IHB. It had a…read morewater leak when he moved in. Took weeks to fix and leaked into kids room and saturated the wall. After inspection we learned the wall was full of mold. The inspector said the wall needed to be contained and and replaced not just spot repaired. Gene got angry said he would fix it however he saw fit or my son with his 2 boys with asthma could move out. After moving they put a chest of drawers out to the curb for pickup as was ruined by the water leak. Gene being the classy fella that is, had the chest picked up and placed it in the parking lot of my office for no other reason than being an add. The item was properly placed to the curb and the large item pickup was scheduled via waste management. We will never use or recommend thia office as long as he is associated with it. Hope no one with breathing problems got that home. He fixed in on the cheap and not as the inspector recommend.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Beware if you hire this firm, more particularly one of their realtors,…read moreBetty Greene. Betty was our realtor and we had to fire her for lying, omitting and disclosing private information to potential buyers who became her clients without our knowledge. FYI- when you sign the listing agreement, you are signing that the realtor can be the transitional broker. I didn't clearly know what that meant, but I do now. When Betty started representing the buyers she met at our open house; she didn't tell us for 4 days. When she brought us an offer from her new clients/buyers that is when we found out she was transactional broker for both buyer and seller. Also, she told them without our permission that we would leave many additional items in the house, like furniture, 2nd fridge, generator. When we asked if the commission would be 3% instead of 6% since she was the realtor for both, she refused to lower it and said it will stay 6%. Once Betty started representing the buyers, she pushed us, the sellers aside. Also, after 3 weeks of our house being in pending status and moving along smoothly, I found out very curtly via email that Betty was continuing to show the buyers, still under contract with us, more homes. And that they found another home they wanted. This is how she told me the buyers were pulling out of the contact. I had asked Betty when the first contract was signed if we should take back-up offers and she replied no, her buyers are good they have financing through her bank. Well, for 3 weeks, in a prime selling time. no one looked at our house because it was in pending status. When Betty realized the buyers wanted to see other homes, she should have told us so that we could have continued to let people view the house and take back-up offers. I did speak with Betty's broker, Julia Dreyer, and Julia told us she was well aware what Betty was doing every step of the way. It is sad when the boss is fine with unethical behavior. This is why I am rating Dreyer and Associates as well as Betty Greene with a 1-star. Julia Dreyer essentially approved Betty's unprofessional and possibly unethical behavior and actions. I filed a formal complaint (70 + pages with exhibits supporting my complaint) in October 2018 and I received the response today January 12, 2019. The DBPR said "the information I presented didn't address a concern with sufficient evidence for them to investigate, however, there may have been a violation of the Board of REALTORS Code of Ethics." They also stated if I obtain a decision from the Board of REALTORS finding facts that arise from fraudulent and dishonest dealings then I should resubmit my complaint. REALLY! It took the DBPR 3 months to tell me something they could have told me on the phone when I called them in October 2018. Very disappointing process. I will now file a complaint with the Board of REALTORS Code of Ethics.
