The restaurant food is decent and I felt the room were bare essential with no frills. The accommodations for the price are as expected but I am unsure if I would have chosen this place on my own.

This is a Hotel you will simply not just like, it is one which you will love!…read more Our group was on a pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo for three days here. We were a big group of 60 people there in July and the Hotel took care of us very well. The bedrooms are big, spacious, well laid out and have a very attractive interior. The interior lobby of the Hotel is a single large area which stretches from one end of the Hotel to the other with reception, concierge, a bar, lounge and various zones for seating and a grand piano. Not only is it practical but it is a single large area which is cleverly laid out and the ambience is attractive with lovely furniture and a very pleasant interior which has very good decor. The interior all feels fresh and new. It is in fact a very beautiful Hotel! Our meals were also very tasty as well as filling and even the dining area/room is a well designed and attractive. It looks out to the swimming pool. We were happy with the prices too! There is an outdoor swimming pool next to the dining area. The Hotel is divided into two buildings with access by a transparent overhead tunnel which joins one part to the rest of the building. There is accommodation in both parts of the Hotel, but the accommodation in the 'main' part is probably more convenient. I will not forget the large heavy keyring they provide for each room-key; it is large and heavy so you do not miss or lose it! All of our group really enjoyed our stay here and it was a great Hotel. This is certainly my favourite Hotel ever! The family who own and run the Hotel used to own and run a Hotel in Rome but the sold it to have a Hotel here in San Giovanni Rotondo. So I can safely say they know exactly what a Hotel should be like and do for its guests. If you wish to stay in San Giovanni Rotondo this Hotel should be top of your list to consider. I have to give this FIVE STARS. It deserves it. Yes, there are other Hotels there and I have not been to all of them but this Hotel is a sure bet. Try it, it is very unlikely you will be disappointed.

We were staying in a bungalow in this village to attend a wing foiling camp with garganosurf.com…read moreThe bungalows are simple but clean and for 75 € per night in a absolutely reasonable price class. The village is directly at the beach and has also a restaurant where you get your coffee and croissant in the morning and can dine in the evening if you like. Of course there are also other very good restaurants close by the village or in Vieste. For all kind of surfers Oasi village is the perfect place for a bed. But with its central swimming pool and play ground also a good place for families with kids.

San Giovanni Rotondo Taxi #23 is the best! I want to give him ten stars but Yelp will not let me…read more My wife and I had the chance to meet Leonardo the owner as my wife and I chartered his taxi for numerous trips while in San Giovanni Rotondo. It all started when my wife and I needed a taxi to pick us up in Foggia where the train was dropping us off. We were not sure what we were going to do if we couldn't reach anyone or how long we would be waiting if we did reach anyone. My wife called his telephone number listed for his business and Leonardo answered and said he would come get us.right away. Being our first time in Italy we were not sure what to expect and how the taxi system works and Leonardo came and got us. In perfect English he assured us that we were with the right taxi company. This was done by the way he addressed our concerns with understanding and as if he was putting himself in our shoes. We had him take us to all of our excursions including dropping us off at the train station in Foggia several Times and he would often text us to make sure that we are okay once we had arrived. If he knew of something that we needed to be aware of, he let us know much like a caring and concerned family member would when family comes to town. We are planning on being back in four to six months and Leonardo will get all of our business and any friends that come this way too. He is a caring person with a really big heart and I wish his business the success he deserves. Thank you Leonardo, you are the family member we did not know we had in Italy until now. Ciao! Robert
