The guy who took my call and set up my appointment was nice. At the end he rang me out too. They had a lot of regulars in. I was grateful they got me in for an appointment on Christmas eve. I had only a 1 min wait in the lobby while I picked my gel color. Lan got me sat at table 8 right away and got started. She didn't talk to me much, but she was nice when she did. The ladies working there were all in a very deep long conversation in their native language. She did an amazing job on my nails. I look forward to getting a pedi for many reasons. Im always on my feet so they hurt. A good pedi has a nice massage - soft feet at the end and of course pretty toes for sandles. It just felt like a very "get in, give us your money and get out" kind of place, the girls were watching tv while they were doing my nails and pedi, which was not much of a real pedi anyway. Just soaking in the water and a little scrubbing but nothing compared to what I was used to. My nails were done "okay" but the nail art I requested looked like a 6 year old drew the pictures. I am from Niagara county, recently moved to Steuben... where I'm from there were countless nail salons and it was easy to get an awesome set done. Pak Nails is better than any nail salon I have ever been to. I've gone there three times now and my nails have yet to even lift and the polish is ALWAYS perfect. They even fixed a bad fill that was done while I was out of town. I work in health care so I'm constantly covering my hands in alcohol based sanitizers or washing them with harsh chemicals, so it really says a lot that the acrylics haven't lifted even a tiny bit. They have an impressive selection of gel and regular polish. Make sure to call before you go for an appointment, they don't really do walk ins which is something that I'm not used to but it worth it, best set and fills I have ever gotten. read more

I got my nails done there with my best friend. We were late for our appointment, but they still fit both of us in. Our nails came out so good. They don't do walk ins which is kinda a let down. Make sure you have an appointment they are always packed or busy. I recommend having Andy doing your nails. He's great, he'll ask the shape and color you want. Then he'll just do his thing and I've never had a problem with them. read more

Horrible customer service. First, don't EVER tell them what time you really want your appointment for, because they will ALWAYS tell you that they have nothing available around that time. I swear, they act like they are doing YOU a favor by finding time for you. Second, "Walk ins Welcome" sign is laughable. Not only is NOBODY made to feel welcome, but I have NEVER been able to get a walk-in appt, and see multiple people turned away each time I'm there, usually rudely. I get it, you're booked up (I have no idea why), but take down the sign!!Third, they have very obvious "favorite" customers that are put ahead of you even if you have an appt. And lastly, the quality of their work is very dependent on their revolving door of stylists. I have had some wonderful work done, but it can't be counted on. I came here for a pedicure for the first time. I left with nail polish on my toes all around my toenails AND I paid $30 for a regular pedicure. I brought my flip flops, and the woman didn't even have me put them on before painting my nails. So when I was done I had to very carefully get my feet into the flip flops without ruining the polish. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing was they had nice new pedicure chairs. read more

Absolutely terrible. I got a mani pedi done here yesterday and the man doing my nails completely ruined them. Clipped my real nails so short and then put 4 wet coats of paint on top of one another, the nails were still wet enough for me to put a dent in it with my finger, 6 hours later. Paying $35 for this terrible service was the biggest waste of my hard earned money. I will never go there again and I'll be telling everyone I know in the area to never go there as well. I can't believe how disappointing my experience was. I just wanted an hour of relaxation before my big event. read more

I was booked for a Mani/pedi. During the pedi, the young man cut the bottom of my foot. He never said a word to me that he did it. I felt the sting and knew that he nicked me. He proceeded to "take care" of the cut without saying anything to me. I assumed that the nick was ok because he didnt speak about it and I was not going to make a big deal out of a little nick. So I went home, got my bag and proceeded to the airport. On route, my foot began to hurt. I took off my shoe and it was full of blood. The little nick turned out to be quite a cut. Needless to say, I was on vacation with a cut foot that was bleeding and it was painful. I was shocked that he never said a word knowing how badly he cut me. I was offered a refund when I called. read more
