A brief testimonial: It was a summer evening much like any other, August 16th 2013. Well, it was a Friday, so it may have been a little better than most, but a couple of fairly common conclusions had been made in our household - 1.) We need to eat and 2.) We REALLY don't feel like cooking. Lets call our good friends at Pagliacci's. So, a little after 6pm that evening, my wife does just that. She spoke with a very nice young lady, who began to tell about the current specials. As one of them involved goat cheese, my wife allowed as to how she had been avoiding such things due to her being pregnant. Upon hearing this the very nice young lady congratulated my wife profusely, and after exchanging pleasantries our order was placed. The pizza arrived, appetites were sated, and life moved merrily along. Approximately one week later we received a package from Pagliacci. My initial thoughts turned to something like, "Good Lord, what have "we" ordered now?". Turns out the package contained a cool new-born onesie, Pagliacci style. I mentioned to my wife that the thing she ordered had come, and check it out it's pretty cool, etc. This is when she informed that she hadn't ordered anything but pizza. And suddenly it dawned on us, we were recipients of a random act of kindness AND generosity. This was such an over-the-top thoughtful gesture that we were compelled to send something in and thank this person for just being who they are. We are sorry it's taken three months to have gotten round to it, hopefully better late than never. It's the kind of thing that make us proud of this local business, and inspires our continued patronage (it doesn't hurt that the pizza is really good as well). read more

Recently dined here for my little brothers birthday. We decided to get pizza there since I refused to eat at the bowling alley and thought the food would be better at the Paggliacci location. I have worked for pizza places. I have worked for slow pizza places. The service here was not great. We were sitting for a simple pepperoni pizza with a side of anchovies for over 45 min with no follow up( the staff did not seem particularly busy either). I asked when the pizza would be out and it turns out they thought it was to go. The cashier told me it would be out in a minute. On the side bar I saw one of the pizziolas throw the pizza with their bare hands onto the pie pan after making other pizzas and threw the greasy box back up to be used again(Yikes!). They also forgot the anchovies and when I asked the cashier-she was thrown a box of them without any apology. I can't believe a well received chain would make me regret the money I should have spent at a bowling alley. I would not recommend this particular location if you want to sit down with your family and eat anytime soon. read more

We have been a loyal customer of Pagliacci for over 5-6 years. We usually order a pizza every 2 weeks. During the last 6 months, I noticed a steady declined. Tonight it seems as if the have hit a new low. I do not think I can show any loyalty to the chain any longer. I am willing to give Pagliacci the benefit of the doubt, but our local, Kenmore, is persona non grata for now on. I ordered a small half pepperoni and proscuitto and half a chicken primo pizza. When we received it, it was severely undercooked. I had to put it in the oven for 12-15 minutes to finish it off. If I wanted to buy an uncooked pizza, I would have went to Papa Murphy's. I called the Kenmore Pagliacci and told them what happened. They did apologized and offered a gift certificate, but I told them it was not necessary. What was necessary was to receive a pizza that was cooked. I would not order from them again. If I need a pizza next time, I will definitely not call or go to the Kenmore Pagliacci. I might have hit an off night, the service sucked and I wanted my tip back that I prepaid. They said it would take 20 minutes for a Hawaiian pizza and I thought that was long for a Hawaiian. It took over 40 minutes while I waited in the shop. It would have arrived sooner if I ordered it online or at least Domino would have delivered in that time frame. Basically the service sucked the employees couldn't have been less interested in providing good service. The pizza wasn't that good because I could tell there was no energy in making it. Pagliacci has great pizza. Yes, they are pricey, probably overpriced. However, their pizza and Pagliaccio salad are outstanding. You can't really get pizza like this anywhere else. I love their Extra Pepperoni pizza, Chicken Primo (oh is this good!), and their Pagliaccio salad. At their Bellevue location they have chocolate cannoli that is oh so good!!! read more

The service at the Kenmore location has progressed to an all time low. My wife and I went there for a date night in September. It took over an hour for our pizza to be served. They apologized and gave us a $10.00 gift card. This is only the beginning of the story. In November we decided to have date night at The Kenmore location once again. When we arrived the dining room was not very busy. We ordered our pizza and took a table. When we noticed that people who came in after us were getting their food my wife went up and inquired about our food. She was told it would be 5 more minute. We had made our order 45 minutes earlier. Another 10 minutes passed and I went up and asked about our pizza. They left me standing there for another 10 minutes while they checked. The pizza that they came out with was not what we ordered. I ask for the manager. I waited at the counter and hE walked right by me and over to my wife. Needless to say I was not happy. We asked for our money back and left. I then called the takeout phone number and asked to speak to a higher level manager. I was told the field manager would call me in a couple days due to the holiday. The field manager did call and he told me he was handling the problem. He asked for my address and told me that they wanted to make this right for a longtime customer he said he would be sending a gift card for our next visit on them. After the conversation I felt good about that. Well here we are three weeks later and we have yet to hear from the field manager or see a gift card from them. I love the pizza but have had enough with this business's horrible customer service. After the way we have been treated I would never refer anyone to this business even though their pizza is good. I really like Pagliacci. I really, really do. That said, the Kenmore store has messed up my orders more times than getting it right lately. I order from these guys a minimum of once a week. In the last 6 weeks, I've literally had to call and ask for a credit or a replacement at least a half a dozen times. Two nights in a row they sent me a chicken salad and FORGOT THE CHICKEN! Last time the lettuce in my Caesar salad was brown. Tonight my salad was missing 2 key ingredients, sun dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. One time my pizza had almost no toppings on it. And it goes on and on, it's always something. They are always gracious and accommodating and try to make it right, but I'd really rather have my order right the first time. I love their people, and I like to buy from a locally owned business. I know I should quit ordering from them, but I like their food when they get it right, and the people are nice. I've been ordering from these guys since I moved to Kenmore 13 years ago, and I've never had this many problems. It's like a bad relationship, I can't leave, but I'm miserable staying. I wanted to try a new place, so stopped in here. The place was fairly empty, so we got seated right away. We ordered our pizza and waited. And waited. And waited. When we finally got our pizza is was burned so badly it was inedible. They told us we could keep the burned pizza to snack on while they cooked a new one. We tried, but not much was salvageable. They finally brought out a new one. The flavor was not great. Even if they didn't burn the first one we wouldn't want their pizza again. read more

The pizza we ordered was dry, very little cheese, and no flavor. We were so disappointed, we will not use Pagliacci anymore. We added olive oil, the cheeses that were supposed to be on the order and it was enhanced. We have liked the pizzas in the past but feel this was not worth the extra dollars and not worth shopping there again. 1 hour wait, high prices, and very skimpy amounts of ingredients do not lead to customers returning. read more

Pagliacci pizza is amazing! By far my favorite pizza in Washington hands down. The kenmore location has excellent service and delivery! Always quick delivery and the staff/drivers are very nice. I've been looking for good pizza since I moved to the Seattle area last month and a few locals recommended Pagliacci, so I tried it out. My verdict...pizza sucked, service sucked. I can't figure out why people like this place. The slices tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and there is no flavor in their crust. Just like eating cardboard. To top it off there was a kids birthday party here and so there were about 30 kids under 5 and their parents there as well, which I'm sure comes close or does violate their occupancy code. So little kids running around and waiters dropping dirty dishes on top of my table with no apology added to my dislike. I also tried the breadsticks and they sucked as well. They had no flavor at all. The highlight of my meal was my unsweetened tea. The quest for good pizza in Seattle continues. read more

The other night we had a great meal from Pagliacci. We usually get the Pagliacci salad and a veggie type of pizza. Our salad has always been fresh and getting things 'on the side' isn't a problem (i'm a vegetarian so the meat is on the side - with the onions : ) )... Pizza is delicious. The caesar salad was horrible. I know that there is anchovy in caesar dressing, but this batch, the fish is overpowering tastes like a salad with fish oil. Blah! we ordered a veggie with italian sausage thin crust 2 weeks ago. I have always loved their food and have eaten the pizza several times over the last several years. this pizza was not good. disappointing in every way. we ate about 1/2 and trashed the rest. I have never trashed a left over pizza before cause its always good cold the next day. i sure hope this is a fluke and the next pizza will be great. read more

The building made me curious, so we stopped in today. It was very clean and inviting. The cashier was Extremely friendly and explained the menu choices. However, the taste of the pizza was just OK. but the oregano and the cheese we sprinkled on top was very fresh and delicious. read more

I have to post this as a warning that the pizza is of very low quality. The sausage topping was actually paper thin wafers, the vegetables of a quantity far below adequate, and the tomato sauce so thin that it could have been sprayed on. I have seen more toppings on frozen pizzas. The overall taste something less than minimally acceptable. The management insisted on having the music turned way up, and the selections might have been to the liking of the employees, but was in fact highly inappropriate for customers and equally as tasteless as the pizza. I never write such reviews as this, normally, but for Pagliacci, I am willing to put my name to it and I feel it is my duty to people nearby to be forewarned. read more

Gourmet ingredients on a thin crust make for a fine pizza. Those with sensitive taste buds will enjoy what Pagliacci does with cheeses, vegetables, and smoked meats. Their marinara is a little overpowering for me (the only reason why they don't get 5 stars) so I tend to stick with olive-oil-based pies. The goat cheese primo and sundried tomato primo are... well, primo! But what is really special is their season offerings. For example, right now they have a crostini pie with sweet caramelized onions and a blend of cheeses. It's rich and heavenly. Their other seasonal this month is prosciutto and arugula on an olive oil and mozz base -- it's peppery and smoky at once, just lovely. This is not the pizza you order when you're half-drunk on Budweiser. This is the pizza you pay a little more for and truly savor with every bite. And the service on the phone and at the Kenmore location is superb. read more
