I did a quick search of urgent cares that were open now and I came across Holy Cross Urgent Care. I called them to confirm they were still open and if they accepted my insurance. I spoke to Steve and he confirmed that my insurance was accepted and I told him I would be coming in now. To make things quicker and just to confirm he told he could run my insurance to verify that it's valid and it's accepted. I really appreciated that because I didn't want to be blind sided if it was out of network. I arrived within 20mins and they could tell I was in distress Steve called me by name and really put me at ease. I had to fill out some quick paperwork, give my ID and insurance. Thankfully the check in process went by quick, I was greeted by Josh and Mike Chulyan, PA-C. Josh took my vitals and after I told Mike what had taken place with me. I absolutely loved his bedside manner. He took his time to listen to EVERYTHING I said and lol I talked a lot. He made me feel calm and heard. He recommended an x-ray and than we would discuss. Steve did my x-ray and I have to say I appreciate him so much for his care and concern. When he was performing the x ray he asked for my permission to touch me/position me for the imaging and I really think this was so respectful. Once again great service and overall professionalism. I love that they have an x-ray machine on site. Clean waiting room. Clean, spacious rooms and even a hydration room for IV drips. Wow!! Btw the facility on the outside doesn't look very pretty but let me say the minute you walk in you would have never think how amazing this facility inside truly is. The facility was extremely well organized and clean. They have parking in the back. I also like that I didn't have to wait long to be seen, and literally from the moment I walked in, these 3 gentleman were so welcoming, attentive and so efficient. They really took the time to listen to my concerns and Mike provided me with my treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. All I have to say is that I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received from the whole entire staff...Steve, Josh and of course from Mike, PA-C. I couldn't wait to come home to write this review because this is the best care I have ever received at an urgent care ever. God forbid I ever have to come back but if I do this will be the first place I go. I highly recommend this urgent care. From the minute we stepped in to urgent care to our last interaction with the nurses and doctors, we had such an excellent and great experience. We felt acknowledged, heard and taken care of. We came in because our child was having non stop nose bleed and having difficulty breathing. Our child has asthma so I'm worried and my worry scale is on the highest level. Our child has no fever and is in no pain. As soon as we walked in the information desk personnel informed us where to check in. She was very helpful and nice. Araceli the sweet young lady checked us in. She took our information down and had me fill out a one page paperwork. She asked why the visit so I informed her. She proceeded to make a copy of my license and insurance card. Within a few minutes she printed out my child's ID bracelet and name sticker information to hand to the nurse. Within 5 minutes we got called in by nurse Veronika. Veronika was also excellent and very sweet. She's thorough. She asked about our child's medical history and allergies. She also took my child's vitals. Veronika informed us to go back to the waiting room where we will be called to see the doctor. She actually walked us back. No longer than 45 minutes we were taken to a room and seen by the physician who checked our child and listened to our child's lungs. Asked about our child's medical and family history. She informed us our child's lungs are clear and no congestion. We just have to make sure our child is hydrated and our child has really dry nose and airways. Our child was also tested for flu and Covid just for precautions even though our child has no symptoms and no fever and no body aches. Thank you nurse Janice for your care and kindness. It's like the billing office throws s%!+ on the wall to see what sticks and you pay that whenever they get around to bill you 7 months later.
