This is hard to leave a review without being totally open to criticism because of my story but…read moreoverall, I was really scared and I was going back and forth between this clinic and planned parenthood, ultimately I decided here based on the financial person I spoke to on the phone being so dang helpful and kind. The whole experience wonderful and everyone was so gentle and kind and supportive of your choice, I didn't feel any judgement or uncomfortable feeling, I felt i could ask anything. They took really good care of me through out everything and helped me through my emotions. Hugs, talks, everything I needed while I cried. I just wish my partner was allowed in but I understand their precautions. Thank you to everyone there that really made me feel at ease during this whole process.

This 2nd time was so scary for me I don't even know what happened, I wasn't aware when they put me to sleep and I wasn't aware of being placed in a Chair after being in the surgical room. Never received after surgery go over. They just gave me discharge papers and read the after surgery care... I'm just getting home and will be calling to ask what medication I was given threw out the process. I'm experiencing vaginal BURNING so I think they cut my vagina area due to tools and stretching... but I was not told about what happened or if that's what happened to me. Over all unhappy and scared.

The receptionist who handles the phone and faxes is abhorrent. Imagine being the front line for a place that is supposed to issue care and being a short-mouthed drone devoid of any emotion. I've called to verify my referral for cardiology so that I may get answers in what is going on with my heart, but she keeps claiming that no fax has come through. She said that yesterday, but in fact the fax had come through because they sent a response back to my ND needing clarification on something. She responded back at 3pm yesterday. When I called to confirm today, she immediately said no, I informed her I verified with my ND and mentioned the back and forth yesterday and she still said she didn't have them, that she manned all the faxes so she would know. Firstly, lose the attitude. Maybe you made a mistake, you're not going to take 3 seconds to double check? SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED and work in a job where she doesn't deal with people. **Editing to add: Two stars given back for the OTHER receptionist I talked to that helped me to figure out what actually happened with the fax, rather than just write me off. They need more of you.

After a week of experiencing severe pain in my left ankle area I finally decided to go deal with…read morethe long wait times at the emergency department and went to Valley medical ER. I waited for over two hours to be taken back to a room. Once I was finally in the room, I was tended rather quickly. After being evaluated, an x-ray technician came into my room and rather quickly took a few X-rays of my ankle area. Next an ultrasound technician came in to check and eliminate the possibility of it being a blood clot. The doctor came back into the room and told me that x-ray and ultrasound came back good and that they could see nothing wrong with my leg or ankle. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me to go home and take the antibiotics because it must be an infection. Although I didn't believe it to be an infection I followed the doctors orders and begin taking the antibiotics. After five days of taking the antibiotics, I was still in a lot of pain and the swelling had not gone down at all, so I went back to the ER at Valley Medical Center. This time there was nobody in the waiting room. I was taken back approximately half an hour after checking in and this time they took me to the very back of the emergency room department and sat me on a bed in the hallway with no privacy, and what I think either to be the lunchroom or an exit for employees next-door to me. So there was a constant trail of hospital employees passing by me back-and-forth. I sat in this hallway, waiting for a doctor to come and see me for about another hour. I didn't even know this area existed in this hospital because I don't believe normally anyone is taken back to this area. Mind you there was nobody in the emergency department at this time as far as patients go. When the doctor finally came to see me, he basically dismissed everything that I was explaining to him and told me to go home and continue to take the antibiotics and elevate my leg. At this time, he also gave me crutches. So I left and followed the doctors orders, with no improvement in the condition and what I felt as to be more pain than prior. So a week after that, I took up upon myself to go to a different emergency department for a second opinion. This time I went to university of Washington medical Center emergency department. I explained to them everything that occurred and what I was told by Valley medical. They assured me they would get to the bottom of what was causing my ankle area to be so swollen and painful. They immediately took me into a x-ray room and did various x-rays on my leg and ankle. After that, they returned me to my room in which a doctor met me there and explained to me that if the x-rays didn't show something was broken that they would have to do more test to see if it was possibly a form of gout, even though Valley Medical Center had tested my blood and told me they ruled that out twice. Once the x-rays reviewed, another technician came in and told me that they needed to take me to get a MRI of my leg. I was taken to get an MRI at that time. Then the doctor came back in to talk to me and told me my leg was broken. She showed me a x-ray that I could clearly see myself or the break was at plain as day. She said she could not believe that I was bearing weight on this leg at all, considering that my leg was broken. She also confirmed that according to what the x-ray looked like that my leg had been broken for approximately 3 to 4 weeks because it had already started healing on its own. How can a hospital misdiagnose a broken leg and give someone antibiotics? This is crazy to me. Due to this I would never trust valley medical again for any of my medical needs. This was a simple diagnosis and they dismissed me and it all together.

After days of unbearable breast pain following cyst drainage, I called to try to schedule an ultrasound. I was left on hold for a long time and then told by Angelica that the only available time was 8:45 a.m. I already had an appointment at that time, and despite explaining that I was in significant pain, no other options were offered. I specifically requested that she not contact me again because of how the call was handled. The next morning, I received a call from a woman named Veronica. She did not identify where she was calling from at first and had a very rude and dismissive attitude. When I explained that I needed an appointment and asked if she had received the information from the previous staff member, she became argumentative instead of helpful. I actually had to tell her to calm down because of how she was speaking to me. She then claimed they had offered me multiple appointment times (8:45 or 9:45), which is not true. I was only ever offered 8:45. When I said I could come at 9:45, she responded rudely and then hung up on me. I am the patient. I was in pain and being told by urgent care that I needed to return to the breast center for imaging. Instead of being treated with care and urgency, I was made to feel like a problem for needing help. I have never been treated this way at any doctor's office in my life. No patient in pain should be spoken to like this or hung up on. I will not allow Angelica or Veronica to contact me again and I do not feel comfortable returning after this experience.

If they had let me know with even a few days I could have sorted this out. In fact my doctor did say that they had sent the information over, so it was just some kind of communication mix-up. Final confirmation that my appointment was cancelled was at 7 am for an 8:45 appointment. It took me only 1 hour by visiting my doctors office, to get the right communication to happen. --- end original post ------- I would give 5 stars if they could figure out what in their process they can change so that the patient can be notified that there is a problem.
