Where we live is way up along a river so I was surprised to see one of the workers picking up tiny twigs as part of routine clean up. They also cleared out a brushy woody area that had a mix of shrubs and smaller trees. Again, the before and after is astonishing. I had questions about other trees on the property that seemed precarious or were leaning and Jeff was very knowledgable about what seemed okay and what might be a concern in the future. Kevin estimated it would take two days, but after five "days" of work he still had not finished and was terminated. The reason it took longer than estimated is the Kevin has unusual definition of a work day which can be as little as four hours. Regardless of the hours worked, Kevin demands payment for a full day and the end of each day. I found that Kevin would disappear for hours claiming he was hauling brush to recycle center 5 miles away. I found Kevin Durham and KNL Tree Service to be very unprofessional and unreliable. If you decide to hire KNL Tree Services, I recommend payment on an hourly basis and then only pay at the very end of the job and be prepared for numerous excuses for not showing without calling.
