First time here ! After following Eddie on instagram for a year my mother decided to get a tattoo by him. She had asked for two different flowers to represent her sisters on her ankle. He took his time and added shading and white to really make it pop! I decided last minute to get a small tattoo by Ruben. He was quick and precise ! Both our tattoos came out perfect! It's so great going to a tattoo shop and feeling immediately welcomed. Good people, good vibes and AMAZING artists. There's no style they won't try, definitely worth the money! We left very very happy and super excited to come back in the winter time to get an even bigger piece ! Highly recommend if you just want a small tattoo or a big piece ! Highly recommend this tattoo shop. Ruben was amazing. 4 of us went in as walk ins. Even though our tattoos were "simple" with only writing and a small design, Ruben did not rush us and adjusted lettering, size, and placement multiple times to make sure we were completely happy. The place is clean and laid back. This was my 5th tattoo. Even if the design is simple, trust me you want to make sure the tattoo artist takes care of you like Ruben did and knows what they are doing. Even lettering can go completely wrong. I met with the artist (forgot his name I don't think it's Eddie though)let him know exactly what I wanted. Put a deposit down and he sent me a drawing that was nothing like I had asked for. I then showed him a drawing we had designed, and He came back with another drawing, sent it to me but not with enough time prior to me getting to the tattoo appointment ..I saw it when I got to the shop. Again, nothing like I had asked for. He said the drawing I brought in wasn't his style of tattooing, I understand artists have their own style, HOWEVER, tattoo artists should be versatile and be able to ink anything. If you aren't capable of doing that, then say so, don't keep going as it's a waste of your time and mine. I asked him to please get it as close to what I had drawn and we can then tattoo. So I had to leave the shop since the appointment wasn't going to happen. He then sent me another drawing, it was basically the same exact drawing with one or two things changed. Again, nothing like i had asked for. So no tattoo was done, and no refund was even offered on the deposit. Smh. At least he knows how to draw, which is why I gave two stars..just make sure you ask if he can and will tattoo what YOU want before you place a deposit. The good thing is I found an artist who is willing to think outside the box and not tell me that what I'm asking for isn't THEIR style of tattooing. read more

I had been following his work on Instagram for over a year after seeing some of his work in-person, and jumped at the chance to book with him when he announced he had some openings after the Covid closings (the studio is responsibly following the strict Covid restrictions for reopening). This was my 4th tattoo, and by far the largest (8 inches by 6 inches). He was straight forward with me and honest about placement, pre-care, and post-care. Eddie works quickly with a steady hand, and the final product is just as beautiful as the inspiration art I presented him with. I would love to book with Eddie again for future artwork. I contacted Eddie to ask about a consultation for a tattoo. He messaged me a date and time but I was not able to reply right away as I was at work. In the middle of work I got a notification on my watch from him saying "so you're going to ignore me now" and then a subsequent "?". When I got a break to check my phone, he had 'unsent' the first message. When I had replied to him to cancel my consultation, he continued to 'unsend' every message he'd sent and then blocked me. It saddens to me to give bad reviews to local places, but I was really excited about this shop and it really let me down. I made an appointment with Eddie and paid a deposit to secure the appointment. The day of I showed up 5 minutes early, he's not there, but another guy says he's on his way. I waited 20 minutes before asking a girl in the shop if she knew when he would be in, to which she said "no, but I can text him." She did and was helpful, but he told her he was on his way and would be another 10 minutes. At this point, he was 30 minutes late and I could not wait any longer, as I have other things to do on a Friday afternoon. He did email me after the fact, told me traffic was bad (I drove all the way across town and still managed to be early), but told me he'd give me my money back for the deposit. No offer to reschedule tho, not that I would taken him up on that because at this point I was pretty turned off by the lack of professionalism. read more
