Javier and his crew were quite the contrast. Javier was up front about the work and pricing, his crew were efficient, hard working, and very easy to work with. Javier was open and transparent with us at every step of the project, and his crew finished ahead of schedule and under budget. We could not be happier with the results, and would hire Del Monte Landscaping without reservation in the future. Highly recommended.

At first I thought the bid seemed high, but once they got started and I saw what was involved -- jackhammering and removing the concrete, delivery of two flats of heavy pavers, delivery of sand for the substrate, cutting of rebar, and all the heavy lifting, I figured it was well worth the price. Jimmy led the installation team, and he and his workers were friendly and courteous. All the pavers were installed in a single day, and the joints were filled with polymeric sand the next morning. We are delighted with the result.

David was really patient with us as we didn't have the biggest budget and helped us with not only a well laid out floor plan for our changing needs (it was very funky before) but also helped with our project management which I found incredibly helpful. Most important, we didn't have to hire a separate designer. He suggested very thoughtful period centric elements to build in and materials, tiles, and color schemes to ensure our home had the right feel. He introduced me to some really beautiful and unique materials I'd have never found. In the end we finished everything (including the landscaping) in 2019 before the pandemic to enjoy full time home living. My last comment is that David also works fairly quickly. Our street is older had many architects remodeling our neighbors and it seemed we had the fastest process with getting our plans completed. Highly recommend David.

She has a hard-working, diligent work crew who executed the plan including demo, irrigation, pavers, drainage, and planting. It is next to a protected preserve and therefore has strict guidelines and landscape review committee limitations. 4. Between our narrow backyard and the beautiful preserve is an unappealing black metal fence with jailhouse slats that stop the eye. So understandably, I expected that a designer of Grace Design's calibre would quickly turn and run from such a project, but Margie and her team embraced the challenge. The result is a breathtaking and seamless meld of the preserve with our dreamy garden. Everyone who sees it, asks who did it. I love our garden. I love everything about it. It is peaceful, dramatic, extremely drought tolerant and native plant friendly. I wouldn't change a thing. While some of my neighbors have seen their expensive plantings die in the poor drainage, every plant Margie chose has thrived. Yes, I could have hired a less expensive designer, but my investment has paid for itself many times over in the joy it has brought our friends and family and the value it has added to our home.
